My first “Morgan James experience” in person. What a voice and performer! Her voice is amazing and when she sings her entire being is in sync with her voice! She gives every song her all! Did the pre show meet and greet. Well worth meeting this amazing singer!! I’ve seen a lot of singers in my lifetime. Morgan James is one of only a few at the top of my list to see again and again.
Morgan James is a terrific performer. She is most talented. I love the sound of her voice. Can't wait to see her again!!
Taking place in a Jazz Club, my concern was that patrons would talk during the show. Ten notes into the show, my concern was gone. Morgan's voice grabbed the attention of the audience, and never let go. It actually was amusing to see the jaws drop, and people turning to their partner and mouthing the word "WOW!". The level of talent on display (Morgan & band) was amazing. A great song selection covering several genres of original and classic works...all with a brilliant soulful flair. Morgan amazing range and powerful vocals articulate in such a way that you don't miss a word of the lyrics. Truly one of the most gifted performers I have seen. Anyone who appreciates true talent, would surely enjoy this show. How is it that she is not a household name?

Morgan puts on a dynamic show, her power ballads demonstrate her incredible vocal range. She was slightly upstaged by her husband Doug Wamble when he broke out in amazing guitar solos. Morgan has put together a incredible band with Pat on organ and Sarah on drums, this talented quartet brings out musical excellence. Well worth the long distance I flew to see her.
I became a Morgan fan after seeing her PMJ videos. This was my time seeing her live. My friend and I loved the intimate venue. Her small band was great, albeit the sound was a tad loud for our taste. At times it overshadowed her voice. Morgan was so down-to-Earth, fun, and engaged with her audience. It felt like she was in my living room chatting and signing on a casual Friday night. She sang mostly original compositions. I would have preferred a few more pop covers. She only sang for about 75-80 minutes. We expected closer to 120 minutes so that was a bit disappointing. The ticket price was a great value and we chatted with her for several minutes outside so overall we were very happy with the entire experience. Thank you HOB, MJ and band members for a fun night!
Lets just start with Morgan was great a fun show. The staff however seemed confused. We had to stand outside for 40 min before we got in. Then when the show started they had to get the guitarist hook up, did no one check before or do a sound check? Then we were two songs into the show when they took 10 min to seat the people. Seems like the bartender was the only one who knew what he was doing. I'd think before coming back for another show.
We signed up for the VIP experience and were extremely pleased. Morgan came out on stage with her 2 dogs. It had the feel of sitting in her living room and having a conversation with her. It is obvious she cares for and appreciates her fans. The regular performance was a casual evening in a somewhat intimate setting with 100 of our closest friends. Morgan and her band made the night a joy on a rainy night.
Awesome show! Nice selection of music. Amazing band. Amazing voice. Will definitely be back to see Morgan next year.

Morgan James mesmerized us as she soared and dipped through her repertoire with such power and tenderness it was impossible to look away. Every single song. And her band! You can feel their connection to each other, the music and to her. What a great night and what a gift to be in that room, so close. Thank you, Messrs. Labrie!
Morgan James is wonderful singer-songwriter with incredible range. She is not to be missed.
The opening band Phat Trick was GREAT! If it was not live, I would never have known that the kids in this band were in Middle and High School. The 2nd band was also very good. Morgan James has an amazing talent. Yet, she seemed disconnected from the soul of the music, even as she talked about her attachment each song. Disappointing.
Morgan James never disappoints. the venue however did. Morgan was able to overcome the noise and distractions that are part of the room. As one of my party said, "She deserves a place that is equal to her amazing voice" Her sets included many of her original songs which showcase her voice and her songwriting ability. She also took on several Beatles songs and delivered a very powerful performance. As for TopGolf, it is a remarkable facility. It was my first time there and I was very impressed. However, if they want to also be known as a place to watch class acts like Morgan James, They need to rethink where and how they present them. Don't get me wrong I would go back to see her there. I would just know going in that it is more like a noisy tavern than a performance hall. If you get a chance to see Morgan James - go even if is in a noisy tavern.
Morgan James is an incredible vocalist and performer and her band was great. Her rendition of Joni Mitchell's "River" was especially soulful. I love that she shared stories about the experience of growing up in a home where music was such an important part of her life, as well as the experience of performing and recording music by Joni Mitchell and The Beatles. I also appreciate that she stayed around after the show to sign autographs. The only reasons I didn't give this a 5-star rating (really wanted to rate it 4.5 stars) is that the show was less than an hour and a half long with encores, and I would have loved to hear her sing more of Joni's songs. I hope Morgan returns to the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall. I would definitely go again!
Morgan’s incredible vocal range and story telling take you through a journey like no other ! I could go to her shows night after night ! You should go to every concert you can truly magical
Showed up early for meet and greet. This woman is wonderful. She did a song for us with her husband on guitar. She answered our questions and took pictures and signed items too. She even brought her 2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels out during the meet and greet. They almost stole the entire evening.... Then Morgan got ready and 2 minutes after 8 she graced the stage and blew us all away with her vocals. Amazing range and an all powerful voice that could knock you out of your seat..... that is IF you are sitting down.
Very intimate venue! Meet and great was fun. Morgan puts on a great show. wish she would come down to either The Sunrise Theater, Fort Pierce or The Lyric Theater, Stuart Florida.
The venue, the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall, was so easy to find. Parking was perfect. The type of seats used for the concert was less desirable. Folding chairs that were padded were okay but not as comfortable as one would expect for a concert. The stage decor could have been a little more elaborate. A black curtain background did not do the performers any justice. Morgan James and her ensamble were very good. I had seen videos of Morgan James and was more impressed when we saw her in person. Excellent show. I can't wait to see her again
If you ever wondered what an angel sounds like go see Morgan James. Just saying.
