Not a good venue for a monster truck show

by Jake on 1/24/23The Cabarrus Arena and Events Center - Concord

4 trucks on a concrete surface jumping over some cars. Drivers had to be reserved in what they did due to the small amount of space. The audio was terrible and we could only understand every few words and as a result the crowd was not very engaged. I'm sure this show is much better in a larger venue with dirt where these trucks belong.

    Monster truck wars. Laughable

by Brandin on 1/24/23The Cabarrus Arena and Events Center - Concord

Title of the show is monster truck wars, so you jump 3 rows of crushed cars. Jumps a time per truck. Then intermission to a power wheels kids race right into intermission then a 1.5 min freestyle for 140.00. I comprehend the venue is small but you all could have done better. Next time dont call it monster truck wars call it monster truck waste of your time and money show. Will not be back.

They did thier best with what they had

by Dustin on 1/21/23Alliant Energy PowerHouse - Cedar Rapids

Ok alliant powerhouse is a very small indoor arena. For barely having any room, really all they can do is donuts and crawl over cars. No speed, no jumps, no racing. That being said, they put on an entertaining show with what they had to work with. Its more about the sound and the exhaust anyway lol. The transformer show was stupid. I miss the one that used to tear the car apart!

    Pretty lame

by Trucker on 1/18/23Alliant Energy PowerHouse - Cedar Rapids

Visit to the pit for photos was cool, the rest not so much. Lots of down time, didn't seem real prepared for a truck to roll over. One truck stopped working part way through. Entire venue was really too small to have much of a show. Usual ridiculous pricing for food/drinks. Lots of people left at intermission, us included.

    Waste of money and boring

by A on 1/17/23Alliant Energy PowerHouse - Cedar Rapids

The stunts were lame. As much as it was for four tickets they should’ve been free. The kids who usually think this is cool was bored. The “comedian” must’ve been some random person off the street because there was nothing funny about anything he did or said. Don’t waste your money

    Fun but freezing

by Thomas on 1/17/23Alliant Energy PowerHouse - Cedar Rapids

We enjoyed the show for the most part. The "funny" guy needs to remember who his audience is... the opening joke was not family friendly. Also, wish we had known how cold the place was going to be. Having open doors the entire time would have been nice to know about ahead of time so our family could have dressed better for it. It was hard to enjoy the show while shivering through it.

    Not great

Very slow running show. The venue was freezing. Definitely could work on the show more action would have helped.

    Great show, bad venue

by Andrya on 1/17/23Alliant Energy PowerHouse - Cedar Rapids

The show itself was really great, we left halfway thru though. For some reason they left all of the garage doors open and it was so cold we could see our breath in the audience. Would have stayed for the whole show but it was too cold. If we would have known it would be that cold we would have brought blankets and extra layers of clothes. We have never been to the venue before and will not be returning.

    Monster truck wars

by Mom of 3 on 1/17/23Alliant Energy PowerHouse - Cedar Rapids

Should warn people It'll be cold in the arena for the winter shows. The show was good and the kids loved it. Personally i would have liked to see more tricks instead of just ramping the pile over and over again. Well priced and the company takes good care of their fans even staying open til everyone had a chance to ride the monster trucks if they wanted to. Would go again

    Waste of $$

by Cranbrry on 1/17/23Alliant Energy PowerHouse - Cedar Rapids

Save your $$. We left at intermission because it was so boring. There were only 4 monster trucks and it took forever for them to do one stunt. I’ve seen monster trucks before that are amazing and super entertaining. Save your money for that!

    Mediocre Traxxas

by Hearingguy on 3/14/17Convocation Center Jonesboro - Jonesboro

The event lasted about 2 hours. There was a total of 30 to 45 minutes of actual show, and much of that was mediocre at best.

    Trucks were great

by Busymom56 on 5/10/16Prince George CN Centre - Prince George

Show itself was great. I was however very disappointed that I paid the extra $ for 3 pit passes that apparently could only be used at noon. This I was not aware of. Everything I saw online said that we were to arrive for 1:30. I wasn't the only person that I talked to at the show that was dissapointed by this fact.

Great show, the entire family enjoyed

by Sturner13 on 3/15/16Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex - Harrisburg

This was our 1st monster truck show and it was great. The kids and I all enjoyed the stunts. Make sure you bring ear protection as it gets extremely loud, but amazing! This is sure to become an annual tradition for our family.

    Awesome

by Anonymous on 3/14/16Lake Charles Civic Center Arena - Lake Charles

I brought my 3 year old son and just to see the joy on his face made it enjoyable. The trucks may have not had a lot of room to work with but they made it very entertaining.
