Had VIP tickets and the experience could not have been better!
It’s so great to have events like this come to our community. It was my first supercross but definitely not my last. I just wish we could figure out the concessions at the stadium. There were only 2 places open when the gates opened. At 3 pm tried to visit one and they said they were closing and turned me away, but kept serving the line next to me. At 6:30 pm they were out of beer and pretzels at most windows, so I found one where I watched a woman get a beer. I waited to order and when I asked for a beer she said they were out… I told her I just watched the person in front of me get a beer. She checked the tap… and there was beer! I can handle a drop in temps and a little misty rain to watch these guys compete, but let’s work on the service to those attending so people from out of town will have a great experience.
For the first time in Birmingham it was a great event. Dirt crew did an amazing job with the track maintenance but the track layout wasn’t great for passing. I don’t think there was a lead change in any of the races including heats. Understand taking the whoops out because of the rain threat but hopefully next year they can create a more open track to give better passing options. Stadium needed to have more food booths open to handle the hungry crowds. Waited 30 minutes in line for food. City needs to have police at every intersection around the stadium to direct traffic after the race. Lots of waiting in lines versus previous years. Took almost an hour to get into dan experience. Overall seemed like they weren’t prepared for the amazing crowd that we had. So excited to see it come back to the Ham next year.
Was afraid it was going to be a mud race but the track staff done a great job! It was my girls first SX and we had a great time! It was great to have a SX closer to our town so we did not have to drive so far!
Had an absolute great time and I hope that monster energy supercross continues to be a thing for many more years to come!
Perfect. The lines were a little long for food. But that’s any event. Hopefully they come back.
First Supercross and loved every second. I went with my husband and two kids. We definitely want to go to more.
The experience is always great, yes things are expensive but we still had a blast. The riding is always awesome, announcers are great, and the event staff were awesome.
Went to Ford field because my family and I have never been to Ford field.long time super cross attenee..bought tickets for the club level for larger seating that is still too small no room for your feet with cup holders jamming into your leg. Wanted to check out fan fest but in Detroit it's not available. The event was great, the smell, the atmosphere. The venue was clean, and looked nice.
Ford field is great! Service at stands was amazing! For n people and fast!Go Lions!
Enjoyed everything about the supercross and the people working were very helpful
Great venue and fantastic event. Looking forward to 2025. Go AP and Chase, yeehaw!
I brought my wife, son, and his new bride to the Detroit Supercross. We had a good view of the rhythm section and the finish line jump. The girls really liked the show. My wife picked Jett Lawrence for 450 and Austin Forkner to win 250, so I guess she won the Daily Double. I was stoked to see Jalek Swoll put a Triumph in the top 10 (6th overall) in 250. Ford Field is a nice venue, the food is good and the lines arent too long. The only downside was getting out of the Montcalm St garage, it took an hour and I'll never park there again, especially after paying $60 for it. The Detroit SX racing is good, but the parking is an issue.
Great event and atmosphere! Races were spaced out good. The theatrics (lazers, fire, explosions) were awesome. Races were great. Definitely would return.
I’ve been going to watch Supercross for quite awhile now. The overall show is excellent but the prices are starting to get a little out of control. The service charges a getting to be a bit much the verified resale seats are just insanely priced and even the parking is way out of control. With sponsors the size of monster energy there is no need for the spectators to pay this much to go to an event like this. The riders put on a fantastic show but families shouldn’t have to spend a $1000 to watch an event that only last for 8hrs if you go when the doors first open. Long live the sport of motocross and hopefully we’ve reached the max on ticket prices.
This was my first AMA Supercross race I’ve attended. Been watching for a little while now and Ford Field was great. Easy to get in and to the seats, atmosphere was great, overall just a great experience.
Ford Field and Monster Energy Supercross is an event my wife and I look forward to attending every year. The track this year could have been better designed and it was a bit short. We still had a great time as always. Go Plessinger #7!!
The race is so early in the season it doesn’t really matter for points so they don’t really race very hard. It’s like they are racing not to get hurt and stay in good standings. Once the race leader is out in front no one is trying to challenge him.
I have been a really big fan of supercross for a while and was finally able to go to one and it was really one of the best experiences
