Great event was there all day can't wait till next year to go again
Great event. Beer lines were ridiculous. 30-40 m inutes? Dont even care about high prices just want a beer. We left. And wht are lines perpendicular into the crowd, make them parallel to the concession stand. Come on people.
We weren’t sure what to expect with new venue but we really enjoyed ourselves. I like the smaller feel of the crowd. Food lines were long and took 45 min about 90 min from Opening Ceremonies. There was some confusion about how to reenter stadium to go to Fan Fest. I hear some people had issues coming back in after the race started. We came back in during practice and didn’t have any problems. I will say I was VERY disappointed that Ticketmaster would not allow transfer of Fan Fest tickets. We bought tickets for our friends so we all could sit near each other. It allowed me to transfer the seats, but not Fan Fest. After chatting with Ticketmaster help, they could not tell me where they notified people prior to purchase. They just kept referring to policy for VIP, Insurance and Merchandise. I had to explain Fan fast was none of that but they kept repeating. So beware if you are buying tickets for people…only the seats transfer. Merchandise booths were scarce. I think I only saw 1, but didn’t go around whole stadium. Parking, getting into and out of downtown took seconds to I20. I would definitely go back next year.
Experience was great, putting the tickets on apple wallet made everything so much easier
Race was great but protective stadium was not ready for this event. Had trouble getting into fan fest but staff got this issue resolved for us. It didn’t appear that the venue had enough workers since it took about an hour to get a hot dog and they ran out out fries! Bathrooms were clean! I believe if they decide to come back next year thinks will be better. All in all we had a blast!!!!!!
This is the worse supercross event I have been to. Every part was poorly run from the pits to the race. You have 45 min wait for food and drinks at the race. It took a hour at lease to get into fan fest. Which the vibe was so off. The speakers in the stadium were the worst I have ever heard. It was just terrible. That city can’t host that again. Come back to Atlanta
The races were great. As usual. But, the stadium and staff in Birmingham were awful. When we went in they gave us a blue wrist band that said "re-entry". During the heats the temperature dropped fast, so I went to get my wife's coat out of the car. As I was about to exit the stadium I noticed people trying to get back in, only to be told they had to purchase another ticket. Plus, the stadium only had speakers on one end that were completely inaudible at the other end. Just a really poor venue.
such a great event, stadium was awesome! Hopefully this comes back next year and the rain stays away!
It didn’t keep my attention. Didn’t enjoy the show at all. Left the show early
AWESOME… Great venue… Protective stadium in Birmingham Alabama was a real nice set up all around … Food , drinks & bathrooms all worked out great.
Sooo exciting right up in you face THE MOTORCYCLE BROUGHT THE BOOM!!!but I give a zero, why have ushers when they have no idea where you are to be seated.
The racing was fun, and I liked the addition of the green light on the leading racer and the flash of light as they approached the finish line each lap. Made it a little easier to track them. First time to this stadium (Birmingham) and it was nice. The announcers were fun and we enjoyed the evening! We would go again.
What a great job by the DW crew to make a track that good! First the good. 1. The East hall is perfect for pits. I like them split up. It is also nice to have the privateer riders closer and in the mix with the factory haulers. 2. There are no bad seats! Unless you are whiny Steve Mathes in a suite, there are no visual blockages and all seating feels close to the action. 3. Overall accomodating venue for us and our special needs. Only a few things to improve. 1. Shoot for late march early april. Weather is more stable then. 2. Parking could be improved. Waiting for the transit to Regions lots was terrible. We would rather walk but the streets are dark. Maybe get a few police details on the streets in that path down 26th or whatever it was so we feel safe walking. 3. If your vending place has chicken in the name sell some chicken! This is the dang South. We are paying an arm and a leg for food. Make it worth our while.
All my kids and grandkids throughly enjoyed the time we had there
Really nice track layout for the space. Track was in great shape after all the rain. I wish they had more room to set up the team rigs for fanfest. Great racing.
My uncle was a factory PRO in the 70’s, so I’ve been following the sport for 49 years. It was great as always, but even better in your hometown.
Loved the setup in bham hope they return next year. Really great track even with all the rain the night before. Pits were amazing
Birmingham did a fantastic job hosting the inaugural AMA Supercross. Fanfest was set up nicely with only a short walk over to the stadium for the night race. Birmingham Police did a great job moving traffic out of downtown and onto the interstate. My family and I are looking forward to 2025.
This was a class A , star studded event , the pyrotechnics were second to none and the caliber of racers were championship grade !
