Moist - worth waiting all these years

by alittleoh on 12/8/13LONDON MUSIC HALL - LONDON

what an incredible amazing show. David Usher at his best! Every time I hear him sing, he just gets better and better. I'm so excited that Moist has been "resurrected" and I hope they take the vibe from this amazing tour and make another CD.

    Go see these guys!

by personplaceorthing on 12/3/13Sound Academy - Toronto

Moist was a fantastic show. Once moist hit the stage the smile never left my face. Played all their hits nicely broken up with lesser known songs. well worth the $50 i payed to see them, especially with the double encore that lasted another 5 songs. David Usher spent a good amount of time walking around, during songs, in the audience. the band was lively and seemed that they were having just as much fun being there as the rest of us. My only complaint was about the opening band "The Beaches". This band i don't think has found there sound yet and i found myself only really being able to stand the one song they did. half the time the singer was shrieking away hurting my ears and the drummer seemed like she only owned white stripes albums albums. I heard some where that they were still teenagers which I will give them some credit for being able to get a gig with a band like moist, but all in all the opener was not up to par. In the end it didn't matter that i didn't care for the opener, Moist made up for it and then some. If you get the chance go see these guys!

Moist was AMAZING, but venue/sound was iffy.

by BronwynS on 12/3/13Sound Academy - Toronto

The band was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. It looked like they were having SO MUCH FUN. They laughed at forgotten lyrics, etc. too, which was great. The sound had issues, with the mic having feedback a few times. Sounded like maybe some problems with the keyboard's sound too. Also, the venue does not facilitate good viewing because it is very wide and the stage isn't all that high, so I could barely see for much of the show, despite being only about 10 rows of people back, at most. But the band was INCREDIBLE. SO much energy.
