MKTO IN CONCERT:
Actors-turned-musicians MKTO are taking over airwaves around the world with their smash hit “Classic”. They’re also taking over stages with their undeniable skills: Tony Oller captivates the audience with his powerful crooning while Malcolm Kelley spits fast flows, and they couldn't sound better together. With upbeat pop confections from their 2014 debut self-titled album and lively stage presence, MKTO delivers one exciting show after the next for lucky ticket buyers.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Hailing from Los Angeles, MKTO members Tony Oller and Malcolm Kelley met in 2010 when they played best friends on the television show Gigantic and instantly hit it off off screen. The two shared a mutual love for music and began collaborating and performing together under their initials MKTO. After spending a few years honing their craft, the pair released their 2013 breakout single “Thank You” which earned over 500,000 YouTube views within 48 hours and placed them on the to pop radar overnight. They followed up with the radio-friendly hit “Classic” – a gold-certified track that peaked at No. 17 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. MKTO’s 2014 self-titled debut generated significant buzz after topping the charts in Australia and securing a Top 40 spot in the US – a huge feat for the music industry newcomers. Since then they’ve opened for major acts like Emblem3 and Demi Lovato, and they continue to gain legions of new fans at their thrilling live shows.
This concert was so fun and I had the best time! I love MKTO so much and I was so close to the stage. It was the best experiemce!
I've seen MKTO 7 times this year alone and this tour was so so good that I had to go twice! They put on an awesome show and get everyone so hyped up. It's a lot of fun!
Mkto was amazing they put on a great show. Malcolm had tons of energy and tony did as well. The venue was a bit crappy but I forgot all about that when tony and Malcolm were rubbing them selfs on top of me in the front row.
they did an amazing job. I waited all summer, the opening acts sucked... but MKTO was well worth the wait and the bad openers. (:
Amazing concert, music was phenomenal, these guys are going places! MKTO put on an unforgettable show and interacted with the audience.
I got the VIP experience and it was well worth the money! I was entertained the entire time and it was well managed!
My daughter goes to quite a few concerts and gets the meet and greet packages! She said by far this is her most favorite concert to date! She has attended numerous Emblem 3 concerts, Miley, Selena, Kiss Concert, Jake Miller, the list is endless and this was her most favorite to date!
The opening acts are amazing and very active with getting to know the fans. MKTO was very good also with making a memorable concert experience
The duo of MKTO were absolutely amazing at Irving Plaza in NYC. Despite having Laryngitis, Tony still sounded great. They both had a whole lot of energy, loved the crowd, and gave energetic performances. I would suggest an MKTO show for those who don't know their music, know only know one of their songs, or know the whole album.
Tony Oller and Malcolm Kelley make up the duo of MKTO. They are two very down to earth guys who truly enjoy performing and singing for their fans. Even while Tony was sick, he still powered through and promised the fans a show, which they certainly delivered. They had the entire place moving from start to finish. Even the VIP Meet & Greet and Acoustic set was absolutely perfect. I definitely recommend these guys. Their music is super fun and upbeat which puts you in an amazing mood. They also interact with the crowd the entire show which is awesome. Best concert I've been to so far (and I've been to a lot). Definitely a day I'll remember forever!
Wasn't sure what to expect from venue or bands and was very impressed. The venue got you up close and let you experience a great concert. MKTO was absolutely fantastic. They were seasoned performer's and would definitely see them again! It was my daughter's 1st concert and she loved it.
From the acts, to the security, to the venue, everything went smoothly. Stage AE is definitely my favorite concert venue to go to and this concert was evidence of why. MKTO was awesome as well as their opening acts. Highly recommended.
Such a great concert! Malcolm and Tony are so into it and you can tell they're there to give their fans a night to remember. Action Item was insane and tore the house down before MKTO knocked us all out of the park. Tiffany was a great surprise and was really entertaining! The VIP bonus of meeting MKTO and the acoustic set was insane. So worth the $60 (total w/ ticket and VIP)
We saw MKTO while we were visiting the city, and we had a great time. They put on a great show with fun surprises, and the whole place was into it. It was something so fun to do while visiting Boston.
me and my friend are 13 and loved the concert! We got the VIP passes and it was sooo worth it . We love them!!
I loved this show a lot and it was really amazing. Tony however had laryngitis so he wasn't as good as he could be but they are totally worth going to see.
The opening acts were seriously great. I'm so happy I got to see and meet them. Malcolm and Tony's performances were great. Tony sounded like an angel, even though he has laryngitis. I was lucky enough to meet them and they were extremely nice. They are great performers, I don't have words to describe just how good.
Concert was awesome and MKTO sounds great live. Really upbeat concert, a lot of fun and dancing. They only played for about an hour which was shorter than I had hoped for but it was a great hour and I deifnitly will be seeing them agian!
I purchased the tickets and the VIP upgrade for my daughters birthday....to see the smile on her face was apriceless!!!!
The energy they brought to the stage was incredible. They have so much love for the fans and even though Tony had LARYNGITIS, he still pushed through and did not sound sick at all. It was pure bliss.
