The music. The moves. The icon. Now, the unparalleled artistry of one of the greatest entertainers of all time comes to Chicago first as MJ, the Tony Award®-winning new musical centered around the making of the 1992 Dangerous World Tour, begins a tour of its own. Created by Tony Award®-winning Director/Choreographer Christopher Wheeldon and two-time Pulitzer Prize winner Lynn Nottage, MJ goes beyond the singular moves and signature sound of the star, offering a rare look at the creative mind and collaborative spirit that catapulted Michael Jackson into legendary status. MJ is startin' somethin' as it makes its North American Tour premiere at the James M. Nederlander Theatre in August 2023.
Loved the entire production! Loved the music and the performers!
It was wonderful. The production and choreography were one of a kind. The solo and cast vocals were great.
Absolutely outstanding! Beautiful, emotional and truthful story of the Dangerous tour! MJ was fantastic from the incredible dancers to the actors to the 3 amazing “Michael’s”!!! I would see it again and again!
This show was AMAZING, from the first note to the last!!! I’m going again to see it. My son with autism loves Micheal Jackson and had such a happy time at the show. Kudos to Lynn Nottage and the STELLAR performers and musicians!!!!!
I absolutely loved this play. Would recommend everyone to see it.
It grabs you from the very beginning, holds your intrest thru out the middle, and makes you leap to your feet at the end! The music, lighting, and talent were all impressive. ( all three roles of Michael were executed extremely well. All three were so talented ) Grab a group. Get you family together, and go see this. It was 5 fantastic!
