  • Loved it

by Jo on 12/2/25Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

My first time at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre, and only the second time for my partner. We both are very impressed with everything. The whole process was quick and easy. Nice helpful staff checking us in. The show and set were awesome. One small negative was the snack bar. Bought some disgusting cold, stale popcorn and when we took it back the gentleman would not compensate in ANY way ... we are not impressed with the too-bad, so-sad attitude!

  • I'M SPEECHLESS ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

AMAZING, this told MJ'S story to a "T" He was the BEST!! So talented. So loved, by so many! They more he gave, the more we wanted 😔 It's so sad, that his childhood was so terrible, with Joeseph being so abusive to him, to be the BEST, and such a crime that he had to die to finally find peace... being the BEST, came with a tragic price 😪 Forever Resting, Michal Jackson

  • Great Performance

by JMC on 11/26/25Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

I must commend the entire cast for this theatre project including those who portrayed MJ as a young boy. The vocals and dancing were amazing! A great show watch live coupled with great musical performances especially Thriller. It was a full house when we went and they deserved the standing ovation they received.

  • Amazing and Heartwarming

by Kathy on 11/25/25Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Saw MJ 2 days ago and I’m still blown away. Incredible performances, there were moments I felt like I was watching MJ in concert again. Brilliant set design, and a surprisingly emotional look at some of the challenges Michael carried behind the spotlight. Broadway Across Canada is doing great work, combining bringing top notch theatre performances to cities that would not normally be listed on tours, and reinvesting back into the communities through their foundation. Their commitment to education, to helping others, and working to ensure everyone has access to enjoy the theatre and expore performance opportunities despite their socioeconomic or geographical barriers makes them stand out from other companies and they are worth all of our support. Huge love to the cast, crew, musicians, and tech of this show, you made magic with that performance and the buzz of the crowd was elecric as we walked back to the carpark after the show.

  • Phenomenal

Amazing script choreography. Fabulously talented cast. Highly recommend.

  • My 2nd time seeing it

by Alison_in_Calgary on 11/22/25Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Excellent show. I had seen it in NYC on Broadway 3 or so years ago. This was a much better show. The lighting alone makes it worth seeing. A more nuanced show. Lots of little things happening you would pick up on if you know Michael's story well, like his father trying to hit on young women. Billy Jean so well done. I can't speak highly enough of the entire production. Congratulations to the performers, musicians, producers, lighting designer, costume designer, and crew. Thank you for coming to Calgary.

  • An amazing play, extremely well done

by Bownesian on 11/22/25Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Our group thoroughly loved the play and story of Michael. MJ was well performed by the singers, dancers. The set was amazing and was a real bonus to the theatrical experience.

  • Fantastic night from my childhood

by Kathy R on 11/21/25Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

This was a great show, the music was fantastic and the singing too. The story was great and told with respect and dignity. I highly recommend this show. They need to turn up the mic’s when speaking, I know MJ was soft spoken but we still need to hear him. That is the only criticism.
