My wife and I took our family to the circus in Fort Wayne last Saturday. The grand kids loved it, as well as the adults. I thought the performances were top notch and noticed how nice the outfits were for the performers as well as the set up crew. This adds a very professional touch.
The entire event was impeccable from the time we hit the front door till we left the venue!! All people who worked the event were very professional, kind, helpful human beings! The Circus Show was truly amazing and the absolute best show ever produced!! We hope that they never change their acts and they continue to make Fort Wayne an annual guest spot!! From the lights to the music and every act in between was well thought out and executed with precision detail!! We were humbled to see this masterpiece of extraordinary talent and enthusiasm for entertainment!! The entire cast should feel proud to have been part of this timeless journey of extraordinary achievement!! Thank you for making us feel so alive again!!
The show only lasted 2 hours. The acts we not that entertaining. The prices to ride the animals were ridiculously high.
Every part of the show was magnificent! I loved every single performance!! The pig performance was my favorite (don’t take that the wrong way! Everything was BEAUTIFUL AND AMAZING!!), it made me laugh so hard I cried when the pig sang with the man! You guys always amaze me and my dad and brother! The circus is my favorite thing to go to and I try making it every year!! Keep up the amazing work everyone!
We went to the Friday morning show and we didn’t get the same show as anyone else. I reached out and they said that the elephant trainer was sick ( which I understand) but there was no communication with us or an option to come to a later show. I feel we got shorted and still has to pay the same full price.
Circus isn't the same without lions and tigers and bears...(oh my) but it was quality family fun.
I have taken my son for the past 4 years and there's always something new to see! Great entertainment! Great family fun!
While the performances at this years event were good, there was not nearly the number of performances as previous years. Dogs, one elephant and a handful of stunts were really the only things happening. Prices at the event were outrageous also! Felt like they were trying to make up for the cancelled event last year. I am not sure that I will attend again.
I took my two daughters for their very first circus experience and it was a huge disappointment. They said they were bored, my youngest didn’t want to sit through the show, and upon leaving said they had no interest in coming back again. They only had 1 elephant in the show and 1 horse and 1 pony. Missed seeing the 4-5 white horses with the girls riding them and doing tricks, the tigers, and all the animal acts they use to have which kept the kids attention. The circus is now just full of human acts that kids don’t care to see. Several of their performances lost the kids attention as they just weren’t very entertaining. The cost of tickets for the circus is out of hand for a family and all the additional costs if you wanted to buy extras makes it extremely outrageous. I haven’t been to the circus since I was in 4th grade and was excited to start taking my daughters, but unfortunately this will be a one and done experience for us.
Well ive been to the circus a couple times and every time is less i can understand due to covid money is tight so hopefully next year will be better
My family was so happy to be able to attend the circus. I am excited that all the talented performers were able to continue this tradition. Until next year we will be waiting! Great show and love the new additions from AGT!
The show wasn’t quite what I was expecting. When I was little they had all kinds of animals. Now, all they have is dogs and an elephant. I wasn’t very entertained but my two kids loved it, maybe because they don’t know how the circus was years ago. What the did have, as far as entertainment, was decent.
There were a few fun, new acts such as The Chicago Boys, and a Juggler from Las Vegas (I do not remember his name). The rest, from the flying trapeze to the dog show, to the unicycles, were all regurgitated from previous years. It was like sitting through the same show I'd seen before but with fewer acts. No Tigers, no trapeze artists (there used to be a dozen of them in the air at the same time, no globe of death, no magic acts, no real clown act, no live band... and I could go on. The Ring Leader was supposed to have retired 2 years ago, but seemed to be back. The Circus is quickly becoming less spectacular and more like a vaudeville show. They have some really talented people involved but weren't given the opportunity to really shine. The family that performed on the unicycles used to do a comedic act in the center ring. I remember when the boys were very young (now grown up). I would love to see them performing like that again.
It was ok. A little disappointed not more animals. Also the stuff before the show was too expensive. Also I didn’t Realize that I didn’t have to pay for 3 kids that were under the age of 2. And I wish I would of just bought them at the Colosseum it would of been so much cheaper.
We love going to the Shrine Circus every year. This year they had a few different acts and they did not disappoint!
There were tons of empty spots yet everyone was grouped up in sections with no spaces i between out groups of people. Then you go to one of the sales men and there toy was one price and the next guy price was 2 dollars less. The show was okay lots of stuff we can watch on tv but it was fun for the kids.
Enjoyed what little there was. It is so sad to see the circus's dying down like they are. You see all the hard work these entertainers go through to just put on the the best show they can with very little staff. It's hard breaking for the generations of performers and the goers alike. Well done for all their hard work. My grandkids did really enjoy it, although they were sad that there weren't many animals. :(
If i wanted to watch America's got talent (which i don't) i can do that at home. Keep searching for new acts, the rest was OK tho. I especially liked the first 2 acts with laser lights and wheel walking.
I love this classic circus that have amazing attractions that the whole family can enjoy. We need more of these especially nowadays with the difficult times. Congratulations
Not only did my son love it (2 yrs old) but my husband and I also had a wonerful time.
