Not what it used to be.
by Disappointed on 4/29/24Cross Insurance Center - BangorRating: 1 out of 5Our memories of attending this circus from our childhood had us very excited to see the circus again with our grandchildren.
The Shriners helped seat us so that our elderly parents could sit in a handicapped section.
We realized our view of the circus was nothing but the lights glaring in our eyes, and at intermission our parents were too tired to move the handicapped seats very close to the action of the circus.
The performers that were there seemed like small town fair acts. The ladies that climbed ropes would’ve been cool but from our seats all we could see were yellow ropes spinning in the darkness. Joko was funny, the dogs were cute. The rest seemed like a small town home days run by volunteers.
We left wondering what we spent over $300 for.
Next year we will make the trip to NH to see Santa’s Village or Storyland, and probably save money even with traveling.
We won’t be returning.
