    Cubs

by Butch on 9/22/19Royal George Theatre - Chicago

If you are a Cub fan this musical is a must. The set as a local bar is so familiar. Very interesting how they wove the bar owners family, customers who are practically family, and the Cubs. A real feel good play/musical.

    Love my Cubbies

by Mimi on 9/22/19Royal George Theatre - Chicago

This was a great idea! The 1st Act was a bit slow, tedious. All the acting was excellent but writing could improve. One individual critique: Elise was very good but we couldn’t understand the words to her rap. Act 2 was good; uplifting!

    Swapping tickets

by Greg on 9/17/19Royal George Theatre - Chicago

Learned at the last minute that a conflict with the 3:00 PM performance of Miracle had arisen for 9/14/19. Wanted to exchange our tickets for the evening performance if available. Couldn't talk with a live person, and the electronic voice on the website didn't present an option that I thought would address the issue, even though I tried a few. Very time consuming and frustrating. Had to eat the cost of the tickets.

Great if you are a Cubs fan!

    by G. T. on 9/16/19Royal George Theatre - Chicago

I enjoyed the talent of the actors. A lot of references to the Cubs, so if you are a Cubs fan and want to relive the World Series win, you will love this. Only problem was sitting next to a woman that was drunk and a previous actor in the play/musical. Her enthusiasm was bordering obnoxious and extremely LOUD

    Great for Cubs fans

by RogerS on 9/8/19Royal George Theatre - Chicago

Really enjoyed this play, and how they framed it across several generations of a family. Not sure how those not in to the Cubs would enjoy it, but for me, it was like reliving the 2016 season all over again. Would see it again, and take other Cubs fans with.

    Tearjerker

    by S. G. on 9/3/19Royal George Theatre - Chicago

The musical had me tearing and laughing. Took me back to my childhood. I loved it when they re-capped our World-Series win. Loved it all. The young actress, Amaris Sanchez was a delight to watch. She was great. The whole cast and their singing was wonderful. I plan to return with my husband.

    For Cubs fans

by Pullman on 8/27/19Royal George Theatre - Chicago

If you're a Cubs fan you will enjoy this musical. The first half is a little slow, second half was very enjoyable. If you're planning on dinner before the show, don't buy the discounted parking pass. It only allows you to park one hour before the show

It was a great show with wonderful memories from a suspenseful 2016 season. It also had a touching story that will make you laugh and get a little misty.

    Emotional All Over Again

    by s. k. on 8/27/19Royal George Theatre - Chicago

Great show. Great storyline. The drama builds to a breaking point and it felt like the Cubs just won the Worls Series all over again. So much so that I became emotional just as I did that glorious night in October of 2016. If you're a Cub fan and/or a fan of good theatre, I strongly encourage you to stop in.

    Re-living 2016

by B. on 8/25/19Royal George Theatre - Chicago

Play did a great job of capturing 100+ years of Cub fan frustrations and relief in finally winning in 2016

Emotional even though we all know how the Series ends!

by Robeén on 8/24/19Royal George Theatre - Chicago

Any true Cubbie fan felt the highs and lows of the 2016 WS as they were replayed, so difficult to go through again! Non-Cub fans wouldn’t understand a lot of the references but overall premise is believable. Actors, please make personal gestures (was it an itchy nose?) upstage so as to not cover face during the performance. Thanks so much for an enjoyable evening... GO CUBS, GO!

    A must see!

    by C. M. on 8/21/19Royal George Theatre - Chicago

What a wonderful, heartfelt experience this play was. It tells the tale of what each and everyone of us Cubs fans went through during the 2016 season. The highs, the lows, the arguments, all of it. The cast is talented and so very entertaining. I took my Dad and he really enjoyed it too, so much so that he had tears running down his face, which never happens! It is a must see. Even if you're not a Cubs fan it's a very entertaining production that if you love the arts and seeing a good show, you'll enjoy.
