The auditorium was packed to the gills - the atmosphere was amazing. The game play was amazing. The halftime band was amazing. Heck it was... wait for it... amazing! And to think that these women own and operate this league - it make this a refreshing change from the typical "I want" that comes from professional sports (both by players and owners).
Great matches between the Rockets/Bombshells and the Garda Belts/Dagger Dolls. Huge come backs, physical play, and a last-second dramatic victory to close the event. The halftime polka-flavored cover band was very entertaining. There didn't seem to be a bad seat in the house. Suzie Smashbox is amazing!
Interesting event to see. Everyone should watch a bout at least once in their lifetime. I wish it was more aggressive though. They really need to get rid of the polka band at half time. That is not a MN tradition that we need to pass on to future generations. People from other states/countries must have been horrified.
Decent entertainment at a decent price. Always fun, no pretense, everybody of all ages in the family had a great time!
If Double Entendres embarrass you, don't go. If you have a sense of humor and of fun then get ye there by all means! If you saw Whipit and you haven't yet gone then I assume you were out of town - buy one of the few remaining tickets for this fun family venue. Its also a great value in every regard, they don't gouge you dry at every turn, we left with t-shirts, posters, bracelets, stickers all for less than 1 concert t-shirt. We'll see you at the next one, we'll be the ones cheering. ;-)
Mn Rollergirls is an amazingly fun night no matter what your age and every time you go it gets better. No better price value for fun in town!
