Minnesota Roller Derby Tickets

I brought my teenage daughter and 3 of her friends. None of us had ever been to a roller derby event before, so we didn't know what to expect. We experienced women athletes who are sincere about competing in their sport. We experienced an open and friendly atmosphere in which attendees ranged in age from "stroller" age to granparents... and all ages seemed to be enjoying the event. We experienced a fun half-time show in which people of all ages went down to the main floor to dance (including the chicken dance!) to the live band. The athletes were friendly as they greeted people in the entrance. There was absolutely no hesitation when I asked if my daughter and her friends could take a picture with some athletes. This was an awesome evening, and we will be back. Thank you so much!

This is my second year going to RollerGirls bouts, and they are so much fun! I love how it is fun for all people. I go with my husband and friends, but there are also families there with kids, and I think it is great when an event can be inclusive for all. The RollerGirls are great to watch and so dedicated to their sport! I very much enjoy every time I go!

This was my first time and I had a really good time. The night started parking free by Station 4, a ratty old bar that is actually really cool! Good food and drinks, and free shuttles to and from certain events, such as the Rollergirls. And they host a lot of rock shows. I learned even more about Station 4 after the Derby was done. When entering the Roy, there were people giving fake black eyes for $1 or team spirit make-up for $2. All proceeds went to a charity. The Roy Wilkins has great seating. I sat at the very top row of the balcony and I could see just fine-not too far away. I missed the beginning of the show, which I heard were bike tricks. The Roller Girls are fun to watch and have fun names. There's exciting music, and a gun that shoots out free t-shirts. Half time has a polka band that was actually really fun to dance to. They played a medley of familiar songs and had everyone forming conga lines and doing the chicken dance. After an exciting finish to the Roller Derby, I headed back to Station 4 to hang with fans and the Roller GIrls! Pizza was catered by Pizza Luce's! YUM and there was karaoke and a mechanical bull!!

Thank you MN RollerGirls for a fun twist to the same ol boring events! Third time we've been this year, and we can't wait till next year. Garda Belts have the hottest uniforms. Please take note.

It was awesome. A lot of fun! Quick and easy to get into and understand that basics of the sport.

Roller Derby is always a great night out! The first bout was a blow out so not as interesting. But the championship bout was SO close. You just never know! I completely recommend this event!

I love attending these bouts. It's always entertaining and fun to watch the RollerGirls heat up the track. Pre-game shows and half-time are fun too--keeps the action rolling along. I have one complaint--the sound system is toooooo loud, announcers and music! I wear earplugs, but that seems to remove me from much of the experience. I think it put the people around me in a stupor too. When the announcers tried to get us to cheer and stand up, nobody moved. We were all numb from the decibel reverberation. Hope you hear this comment from a lot of people and take it to heart. Thanks!

As always, the MN RollerGirls rocked Roy Wilkins. We introduce new people to the fun all the time.

This was one of the best bouts I've been to and the BMX pregame demonstration was awesome too.

The roller derby itself was fun to watch. The announcer did a good job keeping the crowd engaged. The bathrooms at the stadium are awful! Two stalls were flooded, another didn't have a lock and the door wouldn't stay shut. The female employee at the bar stand was fairly rude. . . . too busy talking to another coworker and sucking down her own beverage to care less about those of us in line. We planned on spending alot more money on adult beverages than we did, but with the rude employee and the conditions of the bathrooms, we decided that it would not be a good idea. By the way, there were 14 of us, so this was quite a loss in revenue for the stadium.

This event was great! Tons of people, fun music, great action.

My teen daughter was so impressed the first time I surprised her with tickets. We loved the first show and we keep coming back. Its a wonderful value, everything is decently priced. And its an evening about powerful women - as the dad of a 15 year old girl thats great. See you at the next show!

first time at a roller derby... it was fun and the general admission made finding your seat a lot easier than assigned. the rules werent all well explained, but being a first timer i wasnt expecting to know everything.

Roller derby was like nothing I've ever seen! Highly recommend seeing a "bout" in person.

We had a blast!! This is not only tongue in cheek entertaining but it is also a sport. These ladies are no joke!! We came early - picked up the tickets at will call, went to local pub for grub and libations then came back to the arena and grabbed our seats for the bout. Plenty more snacks and beverages inside too!! You'll want to come early to get seats together though. View is good pretty much wherever you sit. The half-time show with LIVE band! FUN!!!

As a first timer I didn't know what to expect from the MN RollerGirls. For about $15 I got an evening of quality entertainment put on by a group of people who seemed to enjoy what they were doing as much as the audience enjoyed being there. I would recommend this event to friends and I plan on returning in April. Maybe I'll even get my act together in time to get floor seats.
