Minnesota Air Spectacular Tickets

The 2015 Air Spectacular lived up to its name. This time around the organization was amazing, with many dozens of attendants and police officers to direct you down the roads and to the parking. Also improved was access to the flight line. In 2012 they lined the entire flight line with VIP or sponsor tents, so that you could not see the runway at all. This time there was a whole section right up front available where you could see the runway and the Golden Knights land, and see the Thunderbirds take off as well. And of course the performers were incredible. I could quibble about the high cost of food and drinks ($12 for a pop and 6" pizza) but that's to be expected as this sort of event. Traffic at the end of the day was heavy, but it moved along quickly with officers directing everyone several miles from the site before they even let you turn. All in all a great show, and not to be missed the next time it's held.

Great expereince, well run, clean, orderly, plenty of bathrooms, concessions, and a great view anywhere. The grassy spots go fast, so plan on being early to cut out a spot.

I thought the Minnesota Spectacular airshow in Mankato, MN was pretty good. The line-up was good...of course the Thunderbirds were awesome...but then there was some pretty boring stuff too. I thought I had purchased VIP seating but ended up having to sit in the general admission which didn't make me too happy. The airshow staff didn't exactly seem to happy to assist...kinda felt like I was in the DMV. When I asked one woman working there where my row and seats were...they told me to find a spot out in general admission and then she walked away. I asked another guy and he laughed and told me to ask someone else. Pretty lousy service. All in all it was an ok experience compared to other airshows we've been too.

My husband and our son went on Sat. They could not stop talking about all the cool ariel parts, the planes in general, and how nice it was set up. Next year, move over guys. Mom is coming with.

When in Saturday and it was packed! It was a beautiful day for an air show!! Everything was well planned and we loved every moment!
