Minnesota Air Spectacular Tickets

Not the best airshow. Pacing was pretty bad. Many long intervals between performances (i.e. lets spend 20 minutes cleaning the runway.) Kent Pietsch was suppose to fly but didn't (understand his airplane was blown over by military transport aircraft) and the Thunderbirds could only do their low altitude show because of the weather but even then cut it short because of a mechanical problem with the #3 jet. The Lucas Pitts Special kept repeating the same aerobatics. One parachute demo would have been plenty. Julie Clark was great!

I have been to past shows and this one disappointed. There seemed to be fewer planes. They flew longer but a couple went too long. My biggest disappointment was the organization. The tickets said 12 noon. The show did not start until approximately 1:15-1:20pm. Some big gaps between acts. I understand the headliner Thunderbirds did not start until nearly 4pm. Ridiculous! Unfortunately I did not see them as I had to leave so a family member could drive 5 hours home for work the next morning. Note: no concerns or issues with Ticketmaster.

Show was great but Thunderbirds could have preformed longer!

Even though the weather didn't cooperate, the show was great. Really enjoyed it. The extra parking and access helped with traffic congestion. thanks

Went both days to the event because of rain on Saturday. It was easy to park and everyone working there very nice people. The first thing was taking pictures of the plane displays...my personal favorite the Hercules. I really liked asking questions of the actual pilots and personal standing by the planes. Our seats had front row by the landing so the view was awesome. All the planes were beautiful and so fast...dancing in the skies amongst the clouds. Lots of video and picture captured by us and the crowds. The Shockwave was a bonus...now that was a hot ride. We bet the plane Lucus Oil would win the race against it though. The paratroopers so graceful and colorful. So glad not to have missed Julie Clark last performances this year. Lucky to meet her in person...wonderful lady. The last act “The Thunderbirds “ on Sunday were allowed flight. Loud and proud and the king of the skies. We can not describe how awed we were by their performance...the speed and turns and twists. Worth the trip to this event. Afterwards the pilots signed autographs. We Really enjoyed talking with them all. Thank all who participated for the experience of a lifetime.

We were there on Saturday for the show. Unfortunately, just before Thunderbirds we’re about to go on, bad weather approached and had to cancel. Luckily, they honored our tickets for the next day. Great show!

The show as a whole was very good, they started the Thunderbirds show but then stopped because of the weather so we couldn't watch them fly. And then i found out by someone else the next day in the afternoon they decided to honor the tickets for the next day, it would've been nice of them to announce that the same day we were there not not say anything until it was too late.

This event was so well organized! From the parking to the show not one thing didn’t go smoothly! All volunteers were amazing! Parking was so easy and the tractor shuttle was perfect there was not one thing they didn’t think of! Loved every minute!

All performances were pretty good. Although the Thunderbirds got rained out Saturday, they were pretty good next day. I do remember seeing them as a kid and it seemed they had more stunts then, including a "sonic boom" which they lacked this time.

The Air Spectacular was awesome! My family and I had a really good time. The performances were spectacular and the crowd was great! Concession lines for food and beverage were a little long, if anything there could be more vendors for that. We will be going next time for sure!!

I loved it ...can't wait to go to the next air show!!!!!

If you like airplanes and aviation, this is always enjoyable, no matter how many times you've seen them before. Amazing piloting skills

What a fantastic event. There was action from noon until 4:00 just as promised. There were laughs and oohs and ahs from each of my kids, ages 13, 11 & 6, and even from my husband and me. We are definitely planning to go again next year!

The airshow was amazing. It was my husband's father's day gift. We will go every time they have it from now on. Totally worth the money, hot weather and loud airplanes!

The Minnesota Air Spectacular was a well organized, first class event. The team who managed this gets a big "thumbs up" for thinking of everything to help make it an enjoyable day. The traffic flow, parking, displays and even abundant number of porta potties with hand washing stations showed the amount of detail that went in to their planning. The Airshow entertainment was fast-paced and exciting. This was my favorite day of the summer, so far!

This was an amazing Mankato event! I highly recommend the Air Spectacular show to anyone and will Definetly be going again in the future!

This was a air show held in Mankato, MN on June 27th and 28th. I enjoyed Staurday's show so much I went again on Sunday and took a 12 year old; at risk; boy. All the acts were great and the announcer for the event did a excellent job. I hope they do more of these.

The event in general was GREAT!!!! Lots of very cool aircraft. The Thunderbirds were breath taking. Looking at the ticket My party of three had a section and seat assignment. There were NO seats anywhere!!!! Just a sea of people everywhere. Couldn't get anywhere near the front of the crowd to see ground events. The sound system was a joke. Couldn't hear what was being said because we were so far away from the front of the crowd. If we knew ahead of time that we needed a seat, We could have brought some of our own. Parking was OK getting into the event. Getting out was the worst!!! Hundreds or about a thousand cars trying to get out of a single lane road. Took over an hour to get to the main roadway system. The event should have been planned out better than it was. Thanks!!!
