Loved every minute of Mike Campbell and The Dirty Knobs!
A super fun, high energy, pure rock n roll show!! The band is tight and Mike is yhe perfect host for this party.
Mike Campbell is a sweetheart. I especially liked it when he called Tom P his brother. And gave him all the credit to so much of his art. Just loved it.
Mike and his band were simply fantastic. While it can sometimes be a hard transition for a 2nd musician to start and lead their own band . Mike has certainly achieved this 2 plus hours of Dirty Knobs, Tom Petty, and other various covers . Just utterly great. Band is incredibly talented and Mike seems very comfortable leading the way. Not a show to be missed.
Excellent show, excellent venue. Campbell is at his best, and the knobs are amazing musicians. Hats off to the sound guy, really dialed in.
Loved them, loved Mike, loved it all! The small venue lent everyone to get close and have an experience like no other. Great, authentic performers!
It was great to see Mike Campbell & the dirty knobs play live in Allston , Massachusetts I loved what they ve done to improve the sound was prestibe
Saw the show in Boston Sunday nite... absolutely amazing! My favorite song of the night was In This Lifetime... it is off their new album but I hadn’t heard it yet before that night... Mike’s guitar was hypnotizing and hot... he is a gift that keeps on giving!
Dirty Knobs lived up to all expectations! Do not pass on an opportunity to see them, especially in a smaller venue. 2 1/2 hour show was exceptional! Wish I went both nights!
Mike Campbell and the Dirty Knobs put on a long wonderful show I definitely would see them again
I am petty sure that most Tom Petty fans will want to see Mike Campbell play guitar. But I can tell you this band played beyond my expectations. The Dirty Knobs play like a band that has been together for a long time. And that is because they are! And man, what a show. Mike Campbell obviously cultivated his ideas for how to front a band while standing with a master for 40 something years. While it is worth anything to see this man play guitar, his vocals, the entire band, and the audience interaction are all remarkable. They played for 3 hours the first night and nearly that long the second night. If you love rock and roll, go see Mike Campbell and the Dirty Knobs. You will not be disappointed. And if you are in Boston, check out the Brighton Music Hall. What a great venue.
