Great show. Enjoyed hearing Urban Cowboy Oldies. However, for those of us at SRO we could barely hear in the back. Wish there had been a speaker for us folks in the rear.
The sound for the show was awful. I could not hear the vocals. It needed to be turned up about five notches especially because the singers are old. The venue is not suitable for a concert. The ceiling are to low and the lighting was not as good as well.
Mickey Gilley and Johnny Lee were really good! My only wish was that the volume had been higher. We had a hard time hearing well.
Mickey Gilley and Johnny Lee still put on a great show of real country music for fans of all ages.
What an amazing show. Mickey stated off telling us he had just celebrated his 83rd birthday and I have to say you would never know it by the sound of his voice. What a great guy, funny, sweet and still an amazing performer. Thank you Mickey Gilley for a wonderful night of fantastic music and memories!
Mickey is 83 can’t play piano anymore , moves slower but can he ever carry a tune! Had a great time, great music and “That’s all that matters too me” go get ‘em Mickey!

I saw Mickey perform in Branson in 2005 and was very impressed with his entire show, so when tickets became available for his March 2019 show in Punta Gorda, FL, I got them. Arriving at the Charlotte County Event and Conference Center (for the first time) I was disappointed in the parking available. We had to park in hotel lot nearby and walk. Inside, the event center was well arranged and sections were well marked. We were fortunate to have seats in the front row. I had not heard about Mickey's physical restrictions, so I was surprised to note that there was no piano on stage. When he was introduced, it was quickly apparent that he had difficulty walking, and he soon explained that he suffered a spinal cord injury which left him without the necessary dexterity to play the piano. The two female backup singers, the Urbanettes, were quick to provide a stool whenever Mickey had to sit while on stage. ALL THIS FOR BACKGROUND! Mickey was entertaining when he sat and conversed with the audience. The slides used a backdrops were enlightening and served to take us for a trip through the sixty years of history. AND when he started to sing, it was like sitting in Branson in 2005. He hasn't lost a lick and he performed many of his 17 chart-topping songs. Following the 2+ hour show, Mickey was available for a Meet n Greet in the lobby, including photographs and autographs. Great show well worth the modest price!
Mickey's talent and his love of his art are amazing. He loves his fans as much as they love him and it shows.
The show put on my Micky Gilley and his entire crew was absolutely awesome. Loved the stories and history behind the music and the musicians. His voice is as good as ever and his Urbanettes sang beautifully as well. As for the venue, it could definitely use elevated seating, the current conference chair set up made for poor sight lines to the stage.
This was a really good concert. All seemed very "Up Close & Personal". Learned a lot about his life with his stories. Very enjoyable. The band and singers were good. We even bought his book. Can't wait to read. The "Meet & Greet" after was a surprise. Very friendly & personable. Glad we went.
Mickey Gilley at 83 is as good as ever! He puts on a great show and really keeps the audience entertained. His performance is about an hour and a half then he invites anyone who wants to meet him after the show for autographs or just to say hello. Great singer, great man!

This concert was amazing! Both Mickey Guilley and Johnny Lee, although both up in age, put on an amazing concert! Their voices were just as good as ever. They started on time and sang and entertained straight for 2 hours and 15 minutes. So very glad my husband and I chose this concert to attend.
LOVED the show in Hope Arkansas and was excited to see them within driving distance on schedule again. 3 hours one way both times but well worth the drive. Will go again if they are close enough.
Absolutely amazing! Wish my dad were alive to see this concert. Thanks for sharing your stories Johnny Lee and Mickey Gilley, giving insight into your lives with grandkids and overturn cars, you shared intimate moments which really set this concert apart from anyone else. ❤️My 15 year old absolutely loved it, she’s the reason I went. Thank you for bringing back the memory of my dad, it came to life for me.
I loved hearing Johnny Lee and Mickey Gilly. They sounded great!!! Everything was easy and enjoyable
Very entertaining show. It was good to hear some old classic type country for a change in stead of the country rock out now. Well worth the cost of the tickets.
It was a nice, clean facility and the concert was very good. Everything was GREAT
If you didn't make it to see these 2 Icons of country music well you better go to Branson Mo. To see them. Played and sang all the Hits Excellent Show
