Mikey giley is amazing I can’t believe he will be 85 in March
Mickey Gilley and Johnny Lee are the greatest entertainers! I’ve had the pleasure of seeing them three times and they just keep getting better. Thank you, boys. Godspeed.
I grew up a fan. He did not disappoint. Both gentlemen are class act performers.
Without a lot of fanfare, the show was fantastic. Seats were great, sound was spot on, and Mickey and Johnny gave us our money’s worth. Will do another one soon.
I could not get over how awesome Mickey and Johnny sounded. For Mickey being 83 yrs young he sang beautifully. The show was a walk down memory lane of Urban Cowboy! And they came out after and signed merchandise. So glad I went!!
Mickey Gilley was great . 83 years old but his voice was on point . Very entertaining
Now this is True Country Music. Both Mickey & Jonnie put on a Great Shoe. ENJOYED!
The show that Mickey Gilley and Johnny Lee put on was fantastic! Getting to meet them after the show was a definite bonus. Enjoyed every minute.
Gilley and Johnny Lee were really good. Their voices have not changed with age like some singers do. They also told some great jokes. The audience loved them. True country music.
Mickey Gilley and Johnny Lee put on a great show! Thanks!
These guys were awesome at there age! They can still carry a tune!
Good Team Work with the Band!! They getting Older but they give it their best to entertain You.
Mickey Gilley & Johnny Lee both sounded amazing! They were comical and entertaining and kept the crowd chuckling! the buckwheat SNL skit and the urban cowboy clips on the screen were awesome too! My friend and I had a great time.
Johnny Lee and Mickey Gilley were wonderful. They gave a great show! The venue, well, that's another story. It was a large tent. The seats were very close together with no elbow room. It was difficult to hear the performers when they were speaking, and only so-so when they were singing. I would definitely see these guys again, but probably won't go to the Meadows Casino & Racetrack for another concert.
I really enjoyed the Johnny Lee/Mickey Gilley concert. I also may have been the only person in the audience that never saw Urban Cowboy. I am 53 but I never got around to seeing it. However, both performers were great, sang their hits, and told great stories. I had a great time.
I was the youngest person at the concert by a couple decades. People in my generation are missing out on this incredible music. Johnny is 72 years old and Mickey is 83. They put everything into the performance and have retained their great voices. Johnny played a set of his greatest hits with a couple songs off his new album sprinkled in. It was a great first part of three strong parts. The second set had Mickey Gilley performing a good number of his hits. He is congenial and a real showman. They got together for an awesome third set full of Urban Cowboy songs. They ended the night with Lookin' For Love and Stand By Me. The show was amazing. These guys still have it! The best part of the night was meeting them after the show. I got a book signed by Mickey and a picture signed by Johnny. Mickey has had some medical issues that have affected his hands. He signed the book to my grandma, but did not think she would be able to read her name. Even though it is difficult for him to write and takes him a long time, he insisted on signing a different page in the book. So, now my grandma has a book with two great Mickey Gilley autographs. I talked to Johnny while Mickey was finishing the second signature and he told me to tell my grandma that "Johnny Lee says Hi." They were gracious and entertaining all night. I would highly recommend this experience.
Great show! Sounded amazing plus got to meet and take pictures with them! Would definitely see again!
Johnny and Mickey were still in great voice and the band was as tight as you would expect. The venue was comfortable if a little cramped but that’s to be expected.
What is there to say! They sounded great and we had front row seats!! Loved them!!
The show was AAAAAmazing. The sound wasn't great though. We couldn't hear them when they were speaking.
