Michael McDonald, an alumnus of the famed Groundlings Theater in Los Angeles, has recurring roles on the hit Showtime series “House Of Lies” and “Web Therapy.”
In the 1990’s, McDonald worked steadily in television. Finally, in 1998, he obtained a starring role on “MADtv,” where he enjoyed an unprecedented ten-year run. While there, McDonald created several popular characters - most notably man-child Stuart Larkin, Marvin Tikkvah, Rusty Miller, and Mofaz, the Depressed Persian Tow Truck Man.
In 2007, McDonald left “MADtv”. He co-starred in all three “Austin Powers” films, has appeared on every season of “Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List” and guest-starred on the hit series “Scrubs” and “Desperate Housewives.”
In addition, McDonald continues to tour as a stand-up comedian, performing to sold-out audiences across the country. His first hour-long comedy special, titled “Michael McDonald: Model. Citizen.,” aired on Showtime in 2010 and is now a best-selling DVD.
