The event was easy to get to. Easily accessible for a family of 5 and a spectacular show. It was not a typical Cirque Du Soleil show with acrobatics, etc. It was a very good tribute to Michael Jackson.

Overall, an excellent show, an appropriate way to honor Michael's memory. I thought the clowns were very funny and entertaining, wished that an M.J. lookalike would have done a tribute dance at the end, although the hat and glove were also quite touching. The music covered was great, the videos of him were awesome. The huge glove, a huge success, I could see M.J. laughing in my head! way to go Cirque du Soleil! The dancers, last but not least were awesome.....I would pay to see this show again!

Too amped up is an understatement ....missed the maximum enjoyment of the spectacle as I was uncomfortable and had to cover my ears several times.

Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour - AWESOME!

by Anonymous on 11/13/11KeyArena - Seattle

My significant other and I thought this production was awesome! It's clear to us that it was very well thought out and the execution of the Cirque du Soleil acts with Michael's music was simply divine. We LOVE Michael and his music and were pleased to see that the folks involved with putting this production together did it very thoughtfully and tastefully. The ONLY downside to it was the cost of the tickets; a bit pricey. BUT, having now seen the show, the cost was worth EVERY penny!

Michael is spinning in his grave

by JDsaywhat on 11/13/11Key Arena - Seattle

Choppy and forgetable. This show didn't appear to be ready for prime time. The ticket prices were very high for the quality of the show. I have seen many Cirque shows having lived in Las Vegas for 5 years - this show is mediocre. I would save the money and watch "This is it" on video. Michael would have been very dissapionted with the breakdowns and the word mediocre.

Not Worthy of the Cirque Name

by GiganticCirqueFan on 11/13/11KeyArena - Seattle

I had very high expectations going into this show. Having seen 2 permanent Cirque shows (Orlando and Las Vegas) and 4 traveling shows, I thought I knew what to expect from a Cirque performance. I've come to not even question the theme as everything I had seen up to this point by Cirque had been breathtaking. I expected all the jaw dropping acrobatic stunts from Cirque coupled with the awesome music of Michael Jackson. I was bitterly disappointed. It turned out to be more of a weak tribute concert. Sure the music was good, but sounded manufactured, nothing like a live performance would have been. And there were very little acrobatics, at least not on the level Cirque usually performs at. The show mainly consisted of various dancers trying to mimic the moves of Michael, and most often, not doing it that well. After an hour and fifteen minutes we left. I can't believe we actually walked out from a Cirque show. Maybe we missed an incredible end, but I'm guessing not. Looking around at the crowd as we left, it didn't seem like our opinion was only ours. No one seemed that into the show. Very sad.

Fair show but it was the worst cirque I have seen

by MissJLG on 11/13/11KeyArena - Seattle

The show was not as dynamic as I expected. This was my fifth Cirque and I really enjoy the athleticism of the performers and that was missing from this show. The dancing was quite good but I would have preferred a more "active" show.

    Michael Jackson's Broadway show

    by Aloha1984 on 11/13/11KeyArena - Seattle

It was like a Broadway production of Micheal Jackson's music through the years with a little Cirque du Soleil in there. If you love Micael Jackson's music you will not be disappointed, however if you are going for the Cirque du Soleil perfomance choose another show by them. The dancing and choreography was brilliant which Michael would have endorsed. There are a set of twins in black and gold that were great. It was a good event with a couple of technical problems with their floor and screens which were fixed with a delay in the show. Overall it was a good show - you might like seats above the floor so you can see the whole stage. Enjoy the music - there will never be another Michael!

    Not your normal Cirque show

by akbill on 11/13/11KeyArena - Seattle

Let me start by saying I have seen all the Cirque shows in Vegas, and two traveling shows, one in Seattle, and one in Orlando... I thought this was going to be similar but just using MJ music - similar to the LOVE show in Vegas using the Beatles Music.. Well, it turned out to be a tribute to MJ with most of the dancing being on the small stage in the Key Arena. Normally I like to sit back a bit from the stage to take in all the visual things going on around you.. especially in the air. Not so with this... Most of the show is dancing on stage so you want to sit closer.. Music a bit loud, could be a Key Arena issue and were the seats... I didn't think my butt was that big and space in front of me so short to make is so uncomfortable.. On the good side... Did enjoy the music - a good reminder of how talented that dude was.. Plenty of toe tapping moments... and some awesome dance moves... If the plan is for it to take up residence in Vegas... Wait for that .. I bet it will be a better show

    Immortal Cirque Du Soleil Rocks!

by Bisqute on 11/13/11KeyArena - Seattle

I have seen a few of the Cirqu shows, and absolutly love them. Each one of them has their own stories and beauty to them. Talent to no end. MJ IWT by Cirq...is in a class all of it's own. The music by MJ and all the dedication and talent of each one of those crew members put on the best show I have ever seen. It couldn't be that it's because II love Cirque and Micheal Jackson (and his music of course) now, could it? The two together is outstanding! Thank you for recognizing the True Rock King and celebrating his life. We already miss him dearly. YOU GUYS ROCK! Thank you so much for the awesome years of entertainment! I look forward to seeing you again!

Not pure Cirque, but still a great mashup.

by CirqueNoob on 11/13/11KeyArena - Seattle

This was my first live Cirque show, so I have nothing to really compare this to. I have watched many of the DVDs, but even those are edited nicely. As far as what I expected, I knew that adding artists changes the overall vibe of what Cirque does, both with story development and song selection, but I couldn't pass up an opportunity to see how they worked with selections from the King of Pop. Needless to say, I am extremely happy I got to see it! My seats were in the higher-ups, but it was still amazing to see the characters, from clown versions of young Michael to the heavy armored robotic soldiers gleaming in chrome. The acts were mesmerizing, and a lot of the visual effects were handled in a live-effect format, with extremely effective screen effects being displayed on the screen. One particular moment I will not forget was watching the main character compose music with dancing musical notes appearing on the screen. My personal highlight was what they did with the music. It was quite the honor having the backing of Micheal's estate, so they were able to take Michael's tracks and make changes to the form of many of the songs. Suffice it to say, I almost didn't opt for the soundtrack as I was buying the tickets...I am glad I went for it. I cannot wait to heat the tracks again. From the first beat, it was nothing short of spectacular. Cirque's music is one of the high points for me, and especially after what they did with the Beatles' music in The Beatles Love, they took the same pristine care when crafting the tracks for Immortal tour. Amazing, amazing soundtrack. The only issue I had was more on the technical side of things. I understand things happen, but there were two impromptu intermissions, both caused by what appeared to be missed cues. It definitely interrupted the magic of the show, but that was a minor incident that, in a perfect world, is considered an extraneous circumstance. Overall, I am very happy that this was my first life show. It brought two of my favorite worlds together in a creative and simply cool way. It didn't have the same sense of being introduced to a strange and wonderful world that Cirque is known for, but the choreography was great, the set pieces were stunning, and the music was fresh and gave new life to songs I've heard hundreds of times. Highly recommended.

    Not worth the money

by FanofMJ on 11/13/11KeyArena - Seattle

Being that this was Cirque Du Soleil, I expected a fantastic show - but this is not what we got. The music was great - but then again it was Jackson's music. The performers were ok - some good stunts, but mostly just free dancing. The commerical for the show actually shows the best of the show, otherwise the other 2 hours were a waste. There was also two stops in the show for technical difficulties. On a side note, we were 15 rows from the stage on the left side - the tickets were the most expensive, but our view was blocked by the curtain towards the front of the stage - very disappointed. We were told that Cirque sets the seat prices not Key Arena - the tickets also stated these seats were an unobstructed view - this was not the case. Overall, skip this show and save your money and watch the the Michael Jackson 30th Anniversary show instead.

Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour by Cirque

by Anonymous on 11/13/11KeyArena - Seattle

Overall it was a good show. The music was awesome, as well as the dancing. However, we believe that we missed 30 minutes of the show due to a 20 min intermission and a second 10 min intermission due to technical difficulties.

    Cirque du So-So

    by GaryM2011 on 11/12/11KeyArena - Seattle

This production was mediocre in comparison to the dozens of other Cirque shows I've seen. Missing were the various feats of exciting acts I associate with Cirque. There were several technical difficulties and one interrupted the show for ten minutes. A Mime presumably represented Michael. He was dressed in a sequined pajama-like outfit and baseball cap. This performer repeated a slow motion walk over and over thoroughout the show. Really got boring!

    Cirque does Michael Brilliantly!

by Tiikamommy on 11/12/11KeyArena - Seattle

Simply unbelievable! The costumes, the sets, the videos, the music...all spectacular. And the acrobatics of the Cirque performers is unparalleled! As someone that grew up loving Michael Jackson's music and dance, and who is still reeling from his untimely death, this Cirque de Soleil was a perfect healing homage. It was all beautiful.

Disappointing compared to other Cirque du Soleil shows that I have seen before. Technical difficulties took away from the show for sure. The characters did not do a good job interacting with audiences on the side of the stage instead focused mainly on the front. Perhaps if I had a straight on view of the event I may have been more satisfied. I expected much more out of Cirque du Soleil and Michael Jackson! Would not recommend to others as I don't believe this show was worth the price of admission. Would recommend saving money to see an excellent show in Las Vegas!
