Rating: 4 out of 5by Anonymous on 11/13/11KeyArena - Seattle Rating: 3 out of 5 Staging Frequently Got in the Way
by DazzleMeInSeattle on 11/13/11KeyArena - SeattleI love Cirque du Soleil. This Performance was a disappointment. Two many people, on too small a stage, doing too many different things. The stage props were clever but generally distracting. The costumes were magnificent and when they did perform to their classical strengths of acrobatics it was spectacular! Their use of body lights worn by the performers was magical. With all that said, I wouldn't recommend it.
Rating: 5 out of 5by Smmv on 11/13/11KeyArena - Seattle Amazing! This is a must see for MJ fans. The music, of course speaks for itself, however the choreography, sets and acrobatics are really beyond words! Michael Jackson would be so proud!
Rating: 4 out of 5by hgff on 11/13/11KeyArena - Seattle Though more could have been included, MJ would have been proud!
Rating: 5 out of 5 The only thing missing was Michael himself

Rating: 5 out of 5 Outanding Cirque du Soleil show
by rsaseattle on 11/13/11KeyArena - SeattleOne of the best we've seen over the years. The combination of CdS plus Michael Jackson's music was incredible.
Rating: 2 out of 5 not what I thought it would be
by betbay on 11/13/11KeyArena - SeattleHaving never been to a Cirque du Soleil event before I was excited to finally see one and my love of Michael Jackson music and dance is what made me decide to pop for the $175 seats. We were very disappointed. For Michael Jackson fans there wasn't enough of him and for Cirque du Soleil fans there wasn't enough of what they are famous for. It was corny and the sets were hokey. Even the performers seemed bored. The crowd on the night I went clearly agreed with me, the clapping was very contained and there was no electricity in the crowd or the stage. My companion at the event says I still haven't been to a true Cirque du Soleil event and now I probably never will. It made me want to go home and watch Michael Jackson videos to see a true performance.
Rating: 3 out of 5 Not enough Cirque
by thejness on 11/13/11KeyArena - SeattleSeeing as this touring is going to end up in Vegas, I was really disappointed with this show. It was more like America's Best Dance Crew than a Cirque du Soleil show. It was more about choreographed dances than a mix of dance and acrobatics. It does not even come close to other Cirque shows like Ka and Mystere. The first act was really slow moving and the song choices in the first act werent the most well known MJ songs. If this is your first Cirque show than I think you'll love it because it was entertaining. It just was not up to the high standards of other Cirque shows
Rating: 3 out of 5 Michael Jackson Immortal
by PAAB on 11/13/11KeyArena - SeattleAs reviews had reported, the first half was a sleeper-really, I fell asleep. Second half was much better-more entertaining and less dancing. But I wonder if the venue had been different and if we didn't have to change our seats because of the BIG pole that was in view-and we ended up with a side view so it was difficult to watch all that was going on...way too much happening all at once. I felt the musicians were "screaming" out the songs so it wasn't very enjoyable to me.
Rating: 3 out of 5 not worth the money
by Drummey on 11/13/11KeyArena - SeattleNot really a Cirque du Soleil event - more of a Michael Jackson love-fest. If you are a huge MJ fan, you will enjoy this. If you are a Cirque du Soleil fan, stay home.

by Winnthrop on 11/13/11KeyArena - SeattleFair show, a mix of bland Cirque and karaoke Jacko...
Rating: 4 out of 5by larpend on 11/13/11KeyArena - Seattle I enjoyed the whole thing very much. I always enjoy anything done by Cirque du Soleil.
Rating: 1 out of 5 MJ by Cirque missed my expectations
by jnogese on 11/13/11KeyArena - SeattleThis performance was nothing at all like the Beatles LOVE I saw in Vegas. This one was disjointed, without the original music, ugly costumes, lighting problems etc. A few times the stage dancers had no lights aimed on them - thus were dancing in the dark and it wasn't intentional. Other times when their costumes were supposed to light up, a few of them had lights out. I was fascinated by the large background movie of Michael Jackson performances.
Rating: 3 out of 5 Immortal was forgetable
by Skyskier on 11/13/11KeyArena - SeattleThe MJ Imortal fell short of the quality of performance we had come to expect in Cirque Du Soliel shows. Started late and there were lots of late arrivals which interrupted the experience. Poor event management.
Rating: 3 out of 5by Anonymous on 11/13/11KeyArena - Seattle The event was okay. I think parts were a bit cheesy and others were excellent. I was expecting the entire program to be excellent since it is a combination of both Michael Jackson and Cirque du Soleil. I wouldn't recommend this one to my friends. :(

Rating: 5 out of 5 Greatest Tribute Show!
by Pamalamab on 11/13/11KeyArena - SeattleCirque du Soleil did an excellent job with their Michael Jackson show. It was almost like a tribute spectacular with a lot of lights and videos thrown in. It featured the songs and voice of Michael and I think he would have been quite pleased.
Rating: 4 out of 5 Awesome Show, but high priced
by ViewerInSeattle on 11/13/11KeyArena - SeattleProduction, music, artists are all pretty awesome - as expected from Cirque-de-soleil. However, it does seem to be a little overpriced - for $85 we had seats at the top of the arena at an extreme viewing angle. I noticed most of the front facing middle sections were empty (If I recall correctly, they were priced $150 upwards).
Rating: 4 out of 5 Great tribute to MJ's legacy and 40-year career!
by MJ1958 on 11/13/11KeyArena - SeattleVisually spectacular! The stage was T-shaped. Often times there were 3 different things happening on different parts of the stage. There was so much to visually take in, the vocals were MJ and the sound booming inside your chest, there were dancers in costumes that were technologically inventive, the lighting, the aerialists, the acrobats. The show pays tribute to all facets of Michael's career. This is a true honor to his legacy as an entertainer. No references to the tribulations made by the media. If you are an MJ fan, you don't want to miss this show. I would have seen it a second time, but I saw it on night two during a two-day run in Seattle. The crowd was into it, and it was great to share the songs with other fans. Cirque du Soleil puts on an incredible show, but so much happened at one time that you couldn't take it all in because something new was happening in the next moment. A couple of things I didn't like: 1) There was so much happening on stage that I often have difficulty remembering what aerialists performed to which songs. 2) When I purchased tickets through ticketmaster, the seating chart showed floor seats in front of a horizontal stage. So I paid $195 for floor seats. When we arrived, we found we were sitting to the left of the vertical portion of the T-shaped stage. So we had to crane our necks to see what was happening behind us. In fact I would have been able to get a better view of the entire stage had I purchased $60 seats in the U-shaped arena. 3) The beginning starts with 4 guys clowning around in MJ costumes. It seemed to go on forever, and it was dull and lifeless to some music I don't remember MJ singing. I wish they would axe the beginning and wow me from the first moment. They should have spent more time on Billie Jean and Beat It. I rarely go out for entertainment, and when I do, I only want to see the best. I did see the best. Unfortunately, it was so fast-paced that I cannot remember much of it and would have liked to have seen it twice.
