Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour by Cirque du Soleil Tickets

Talk about a MAJOR let down. Like many reviewers, I have seen just about every Cirque du Soleil show there is, so my expectations were very high. My disappointment in the Immortal Tour is was so immense that I had trouble understanding how in the world this show could be so successful in Vegas. That’s where I didn’t do my homework. Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour and Michael Jackson ONE are two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT productions! Thank God‼. Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour is a touring show whereas Michael Jackson ONE is a true Cirque theatrical production at Mandalay Bay in Vegas that all of us Cirque fans have come to expect; awe-inspiring story-line, innovative set designs, best of the best performers, along with breathtaking costumes and makeup. My faith has been restored! The IWT was the exact opposite; just a group of b-list performers who can dance. Even the choreography was amateurish. I felt so bad for bringing a friend along and making her spend $200 to see such a mediocre show. But it is a relief to know that the real thing is still waiting for me in Vegas!

The crowd was pretty thin so that might have had something to do with the lack of atmosphere. I've been to many Cirque shows before (resident & travelling), this is the first time I have not been knocked off my feet. It was really missing something. I expected more traditional Cirque acts performed to MJ's music. Instead about half of the show was recreating music videos with a 2D main character. It just didn't come across correctly.

I was very disappointed. Advertised as Cirque due Soleil but very little Cirque was in this show. I was expecting a show similar to the Beatles' Love in Vegas or Elvis. Too many strobes and spotlights on the audience. Dancing was excellent. I like Michael Jackson's music,bet really expected more considering the prices.

This show was priceless!!! A must see!!! An incredible depiction of Michael Jackson's music!!!

I have been to numerous Cirque du Soleil performances but I must say I was not as "wow'd" as I have been in the past. I just thought there was too much dancing around and not enough of the AWESOME performances of the cast of Cirque du Soleil!!! I will not attend another show that focuses around a famous singer in the future....I just wnat to see performances by Cirque du Soleil and be overwhelmed by the impossibilities of their acts!!! Don't get me wrong...there were some moments of "WOW" but nearly as in the past shows I've seen.

Completely amazing and wonderful. I was so disappointed when it ended because I wanted to keep seeing more. Expertly executed.

As a dance teacher/performer, I loved this show! It was jam packed with many dance numbers. However, as a fan of Cirque due Soleil, I was disappointed that there were not many Cirque acts included in it. Would liked to have seen more of the Cirque product that I am used to seeing. However, the handful of Cirque acts was amazing! Also, toward the end of the show, some of the dancing got to be boring as it was the same dance steps over and over for every number. Thriller and Smooth Criminal were way too short! Would loved to have seen more of the dancing in those numbers.

I am not a huge fan of Michael Jackson but there are some songs that I like. I am a huge fan of Cirque du Soleil so I decided to give this one a try. I have to say that I was blown away by this production and enjoyed every single second of it. Cirque du Soleil does a fantastic job of presenting Michael Jackson in only the way they could do. It's a big thumbs up for this! I could go every night and enjoy it each time.

This show was almost unbelievable, but I saw it with my own eyes and heard it with my own ears. I knew that since this was a Cirque performance it would be fantastic, so not only were the athletic performances over the top... the live music was also phenomenal.

Great show! I'm glad we went. Excellent music, dancing, and aerobatics.

This was our first show by Cirque Du Soleil. Really impressed by everything the show offered. Performers were incredible! Can't wait for the next performance to come our way!

Negatives: The song selection was very obscure. It was more of his dark, edgy, message music. Many of the numbers featured one or a few people walking around the stage looking off into the distance as if they were lost...quality of dance moves was not great, surprisingly very few images of Michael Jackson on the tv screens onstage. Positives: there were some acts such as the pole dancer, aerial acrobats, male dancer with one leg, and a female floor bass player that were fantastic.

The show was entertaining, but not up to the caliber of previous Crique du Soleil shows I had seen previously. People who weren't on time for the event kept streaming in after the performance started creating enormous distractions. The venue should have held them until an appropriate moment in the show. Certain members of the audience were inconsiderate to the performers (flash photography, videotaping, etc. after several announcements) and to the audience (spilling drinks and not cleaning it up), but, then again, a certain percentage of any audience will be inconsiderate. The worst part of the experience was the seats. Our seats were off to the side and we could see everything going on backstage. This took away from the usual Cirque experience. These seats should have never been sold by the venue.

Excellent Cirque du Soleil show that I highly recommend to any Michael Jackson or Cirque fan. My only complaint was everyone around us recording the show on their phones even though they announced not to record. Ushers should have been monitoring this much better.

The show started out very slow. Played a lot of slow songs and songs we didn't recognize. The main guy did the same dance over and over to slow and fast beat songs. Second half of the show was better . Still not a show I would ever see again.Moved seats in hopes we would be more impressed.
