The concert took place on a stormy night on the Detroit Riverfront. Michael Franks didn't disappoint! The sound system was a bit off. Knowing the songs and the music kind of offset that, but it would have been nice to clearly understand what Michael Franks was saying between sets. It was distorted, but not his fault. His show was still incredible!!

His consistency is what makes him so enjoyable to watch. Wow 78 yrs old. Plays fan favorites and plays them as we heard them growing up. Never screams so I'm sure that's how he maintained his smooth vocals. Awesome 👏👏
It had been about 20 years since I last saw him in concert and he still sounds amazing!!! His music is soothing to the soul, and the pouring rain couldn't stop us from enjoying the show 🎶

Michael Franks and Michael Munson concert, with comedian Mike Bonner was awesome. Although there was an impending rain storm the weather during the concert was perfect. Definitely the refreshments were on point, loved my blue drink thanks for bringing it back. Music was on point!!! The atmosphere was great felt like we were all interested in having a great time.

Michael Franks never disappoints. We have been fans for over 45 years. Great to see him back out with his fans! We flew to Washington, DC from Charleston, SC to see him. Loved the concert.
What a show! He sang so many songs we all know. The band was great, too. His anecdotal stories about some of his songs were endearing. He is in fine voice! I would go see him again!
I'm never disappointed with the venue; however the food aspect of it was not that great. Unfortunately DO NOT order the nacho platter. It was horrible. The menu has toned down a lot. I'm assuming from the pandemic. I would suggest getting the mozzarella sticks. You can't go wrong with that. Michael was ok. I wasn't too surprised regarding his show. He has aged and you could tell in his singing. Couldn't hold notes to well. His musicians were quite good but I think that will be my first and last show to see him. As a matter of fact I left a little early.
Michael is like no other. He's in a class all by himself. We took a friend of ours to see him at Birchmere in VA. It was his first time seeing him live. He said it was the best show he's ever seen.
Excellent show as always from Michael Franks. The rest during COVID did wonders for his vocal range...top notch. Excellent backing group as well. The Birchmere folks are very helpful and always create a joyful experience to view the stars in an intimate setting.
