Great music, dancing and costumes. There should have been a program with the names and background of the dancers. Who was the solo female singer? The violin players? The main male and female dancers?

Rating: 4 out of 5by Anonymous on 10/26/09Five Flags Center - Dubuque Rating: 4 out of 5 Fabulous but violence not needed!!!
by Zuppie on 10/26/09Five Flags Center - DubuqueI took granddaughters as they love theater productions and dancing. Generally it is a very beautiful event to attend - the dancing and precision is superb - can't be beat. The costumes and staging were fantastic. However, does every event in our society have to portray acts of violence? I would like to see you change your theme to something very positive and uplifting. We do not need to see pushing and gesturing and fighting - enough of that in this world. Please consider a change of story. My granddaughters said "why were some of those people so mean?" Out of the mouths of babes!

Rating: 4 out of 5 Lord of the Dance was beautiful!
by jlymom on 10/26/09Five Flags Center - DubuqueWith the exception of the disappointment that the music was pre-recorded rather than live, this was an amazing show! There is no denying the talent of the dancers and performers and the energy of the show was contagious.
Rating: 2 out of 5by judge2 on 10/26/09Five Flags Center - Dubuque Slow to start. Did not like the fact they could not keep up with the beat of prior dancers footsteps. They were out of step.

by dancrfan on 10/24/09Embassy Theatre - Fort WayneGreat dancing, great music, great show. Only dissappointment was that Michael Flatley did not dance in the show. It would have been nice to see at least a small segment with him in it.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Lord of the Dance was fantastic!!
by sweetnlow on 10/24/09Embassy Theatre - Fort WayneI have always wanted to see Lord of the Dance but never thought it would come to Fort Wayne. I went with my Mom and sister and we had a great time watching the dancers! The part when the men were dancing and you could hear their shoes on the floor..powerful!! The leads for the men and women were unbelieveable! All the dancers were in time with the others. The ladies were graceful and always smiling! The last part where everyone was on the stage dancing was so exciting! The only regret was that my sister kept asking me if Michael Flatley was going to come out and he did not. She said she didn't care if they wheeled him out in a wheelchair she just wanted to see him since it was his show. All in all, it was a great show and we hope that they come to Fort Wayne again. Thanks for show..I give it 5 stars :)
Rating: 4 out of 5 Lord of Dance
by Dancer11 on 10/23/09Embassy Theatre - Fort WayneThe program was wonderful, but would have been better if we had been provided a program with some background on the story line. The only program provided was from the venue advertising coming events. This is the first theatre event I have attended that didn't even provide bio information on the performers.

by JR44 on 10/23/09Embassy Theatre - Fort WayneSeeing this was on our "bucket list". It was even better than we thought. The power of the men, the beauty of the women backed up be the wonderful music makes this a must see.
Rating: 3 out of 5 A disappointing Lord of the Dance
by Indyj on 10/23/09Embassy Theatre - Fort WayneI suppose much of my disappointment could be laid to the breathers and costume changes brought about by lip syncing and air fiddle playing. The canned foot tapping, although probably a requirement by the stage's physical deficiencies, distracted noticably. Although the dancers seemed to float and glide across the stage, and their athletic abilities are without question, the combining of the sounds to the appropriate dance movements was less than sterling. The stage backdrop was sparse but appropriate and sufficient and not a distraction from the dance or the story behind the dance. Additionally though, a twenty minute intermission within an hour and forty-five minute show was excessive and used primarily as a vehicle to hawk CDs and tee-shirts. Bad form.

Rating: 2 out of 5 Lord of the Ego
by Tmorrow on 10/23/09Embassy Theatre - Fort WayneLord of the Dance was a high school rendition of a formerly well done show. High school egos obvious. Animated and unfeeling. Room for improvement.

by Dnnsgps on 7/13/09STANLEY CENTER FOR THE ARTS - UticaTotally Awwsome!!! I would definetly go again. The only problems I had was it was too short (Not long enough) and didn't know if I could take photos. Was able to catch a few photos during the 2nd half. But it was totally amazing watching this LIVE!!!!! And being right down front was even more special. I was just awstruck watching the foot work.
