About

MiamiBash in Concert

Miami has a long reputation for holding down a vibrant Latin music scene, and MiamiBash is further pushing the urban Latino movement to the fore. Now approaching its sixth installment, which takes place on April 13, 2019, at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida, the mega concert has lived up to its mission statement to keep making the event "bigger and better every year."

In 2018, MiamiBash fulfilled that promise by showcasing some of Latin music's biggest and most exciting artists in the game. Attendees witnessed big names like J Balvin, Pitbull, Bad Bunny, Anitta, Luis Fonsi, and other powerhouses join the same stage in the same night, inspiring many a headline to declare the show "a glimpse into the future of reggaeton."

Organized by Alex Sensation, the event continues to solidify the reggaeton wave that has infiltrated the global mainstream. While 2018's lineup was packed with a cluster of household names, MiamiBash also has a reputation for helping launch the careers of many stars.

J Balvin and Maluma were some acts that performed at the Miami event's inauguration in 2014, and since then, both musicians have skyrocketed to global acclaim. J Balvin became the No. 1 artist with the most listens on Spotify in the summer of 2018. His songs and collaborations like "Ay Vamos," "Ginza," "Mi Gente," "X," "Safari," and Cardi B's "I Like It" have all peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard charts.

Maluma also has experienced a huge boost in popularity. He became the first solo artist to perform in Spanish at MTV's VMAs, and 10 of his hits have entered Billboard's Top 10 of Hot Latin Songs, like "Chantaje," "Felices Los 4," and "Borro Cassette." Keep an eye out for lineup announcements for the next edition of MiamiBash. Latin music lovers can anticipate another undoubtedly riveting year.

    Disappointing

by V on 12/20/21FTX Arena (formerly AmericanAirlines Arena) - Miami

First I was upset that I bought tickets that did not state obstructed or side view and yet the entire stage was covering our view. They placed a tv behind the stage for us to be able to see and that is not okay. Additionally, 2-3 of the performers on the line up never even showed up.

by Ka on 12/20/21FTX Arena (formerly AmericanAirlines Arena) - Miami

Not the best concert. Thought it was going to be better. Lots of stopping in between and then when they stopped so they can set up the next performance the music choice was bad.

    Everything was good.

by Elsa on 12/20/21FTX Arena (formerly AmericanAirlines Arena) - Miami

They should have place the big tvs like in other concerts so the people up in the higher seats could have seen it better, especially the people on the right and left side.

by Ralph on 4/19/19AmericanAirlines Arena - Miami

Not very exciting. A lot of no names - with exception to Carlos Vives and a couple of other artists. Better if buying cheaper seats...

The Most Amazing Concert in Miami

by Abe and Cat on 4/17/19AmericanAirlines Arena - Miami

Save your money and go to Patio.

    by M on 4/17/19AmericanAirlines Arena - Miami

The last few Bashes had been amazing. This year's event fell incredibly short. There were too many unknown acts compared to the number of headliners, which diluted the entire experience. While the concert started at a reasonable time, having too much novice talent kept the concert going longer than it had to. Why not focus on your headliners, allow them to perform more than 3 songs, and really create a memorable concert experience? Save your money and go to Patio.

Some of the openers were god awful, but the artist towards the end of the show especially anuel turned the experience around and made it amazing.

    Horrible

by Dp on 4/16/19AmericanAirlines Arena - Miami

It was not what I expected at allllll. I went two years ago and it was amazing! They had upbeat GOOD music the first time but 2019’s Miami Bash was not good at all. I was falling asleep at this years show...... don’t believe I’ll be going again ever..

    Sound Deficit

by Super on 4/16/19AmericanAirlines Arena - Miami

Upon entry, concert had no energy, no prior host or entertainment on stage with approx 45 minute delay of start time..Stage props very basic and had no appeal to the Spanish audience..Majority of Entertainers as well as dancers were not dresses to standards of an international level concert venue..There was to many artists that appeared to have been inserted to allow time for delayed premier artist performances. Now my number one complain , there was to many inconsistencies with the clarity, quality, and voice distortion throughout the concert, very difficult to undertand and comprehend the words by the artist..Sound was drowned by intense overwhelming bass, with no mid to high range..Finally my seats were in prime location and my overall experience was just poor..
