About

MiamiBash in Concert

Miami has a long reputation for holding down a vibrant Latin music scene, and MiamiBash is further pushing the urban Latino movement to the fore. Now approaching its sixth installment, which takes place on April 13, 2019, at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida, the mega concert has lived up to its mission statement to keep making the event "bigger and better every year."

In 2018, MiamiBash fulfilled that promise by showcasing some of Latin music's biggest and most exciting artists in the game. Attendees witnessed big names like J Balvin, Pitbull, Bad Bunny, Anitta, Luis Fonsi, and other powerhouses join the same stage in the same night, inspiring many a headline to declare the show "a glimpse into the future of reggaeton."

Organized by Alex Sensation, the event continues to solidify the reggaeton wave that has infiltrated the global mainstream. While 2018's lineup was packed with a cluster of household names, MiamiBash also has a reputation for helping launch the careers of many stars.

J Balvin and Maluma were some acts that performed at the Miami event's inauguration in 2014, and since then, both musicians have skyrocketed to global acclaim. J Balvin became the No. 1 artist with the most listens on Spotify in the summer of 2018. His songs and collaborations like "Ay Vamos," "Ginza," "Mi Gente," "X," "Safari," and Cardi B's "I Like It" have all peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard charts.

Maluma also has experienced a huge boost in popularity. He became the first solo artist to perform in Spanish at MTV's VMAs, and 10 of his hits have entered Billboard's Top 10 of Hot Latin Songs, like "Chantaje," "Felices Los 4," and "Borro Cassette." Keep an eye out for lineup announcements for the next edition of MiamiBash. Latin music lovers can anticipate another undoubtedly riveting year.

    Could've been better

    by Chino on 12/20/21

I am disappointed. How do they get away with announcing many artists and in the end they don't show up??!! They announced Camilo, Carol G, Maluma, El Alfa,. NONE OF THEM SHOWED UP. What is that? Alex barely mixed for a few minutes and repeated 2 songs that were already played by the artists before him. In total i think I counted 3 or 4 songs that were repeated, do they no rehearse this or not care? Also, Fariana's time was bad but the worst of the worst was the 1 song by 69. He left the stage booed by the crowd. I liked the 2019 bash but I'm not sure if I'm going again. Not everything was bad, I liked Jowel y Randy, Ivi queen, Ozuna and Nicky Jam was a great surprise. Unfortunately the things I mentioned sucked.

    Laid

by Ingrid on 12/20/21FTX Arena (formerly AmericanAirlines Arena) - Miami

I bought the tickets with the intention of Camilo being in the concert as they were promoting… I can’t believe they as the night went by he never showed up. My daughter (10years old) wanted to see him in concert…. We drove 3hours from Melbourne Beach Fl, paid $450 hotel to be walking distance to the concert… and they laid. My daughter end it up crying and we just walked back to the hotel around 11pm. I’ll never go to a concert with this organizers they promise certain artist and they don’t care about the fans doing all efforts like us.

He came for 15 min in the middle of time of the show and he brought a (FAKE DOBLE) of Ozuna, Ozuna never posted on his IG anything regarding the show. But wait, their is more, he invited the SNICH OF TAKASHI 69, he was booed and called rat 🐀

    Disappointing

by V on 12/20/21FTX Arena (formerly AmericanAirlines Arena) - Miami

First I was upset that I bought tickets that did not state obstructed or side view and yet the entire stage was covering our view. They placed a tv behind the stage for us to be able to see and that is not okay. Additionally, 2-3 of the performers on the line up never even showed up.

    It was okay...

by Ka on 12/20/21FTX Arena (formerly AmericanAirlines Arena) - Miami

Not the best concert. Thought it was going to be better. Lots of stopping in between and then when they stopped so they can set up the next performance the music choice was bad.

    Everything was good.

by Elsa on 12/20/21FTX Arena (formerly AmericanAirlines Arena) - Miami

They should have place the big tvs like in other concerts so the people up in the higher seats could have seen it better, especially the people on the right and left side.
