MercyMe has been releasing hits in the Christian rock genre since 2001, when "I Can Only Imagine" caught the attention of the public and became the most requested song on a mainstream station in Texas. Despite the band's success on conventional radio stations, the majority of ticket buyers expect MercyMe's concert tours to be religion oriented, and they are not disappointed. Fans who attended the Rock & Worship Roadshow in 2013 described the tour as uplifting and filled with spiritual hits that included "Word of God Speak,” “All of Creation” and "You Don’t Care At All." The latter song is from the 2012 album The Hurt & the Healer, which reached No. 1 on the Christian Albums Billboard chart.
Millard formed MercyMe with Jim Bryson and Mike Scheuchzer in Oklahoma, and after releasing independently, MercyMe signed with INO Records in 2001. Their first album earned the 2x Platinum certification from the RIAA after "I Can Only Imagine" won two Dove Awards. On 2002's Spoken For, which peaked at No. 2 on the Christian Albums chart, the title track was the most successful. 2004's Undone brought with it hits like "Here with Me," "Homesick" and "In the Blink of an Eye." 2006's Coming Up to Breathe was nominated for a Grammy, due to hit singles like "Bring the Rain," "So Long Self" and "Hold Fast." All That Is Within Me was released in 2007, with "God With Us" reaching No. 1 on the Christian Songs Billboard chart. 2010 saw the release of The Generous Mr. Lovewell, while 2012's The Hurt & The Healer featured "You Are I Am" and the title track as the most popular songs. MercyMe has plans to continue its tour for The Hurt & the Healer album in 2014.

The concert was wonderful. Mercy Me music was very good. The seating and sound was good throughout the building. It was a very good concert experience.
MercyMe is my favorite Christian music group. I was so excited to finally see them in concert. They certainly didn't disappoint. Their songs are so uplifting and inspirational. The videos behind the band were amazing!!! The venue was perfect for this performance. However, I found the ticketing process to be confusing.
The concert was great!! It was very moving. Bart was very relateable. The facilities were also very comfortable and clean. I hope Purdue continues to have concerts of this genre. My only point of criticism would be to have better handicap parking. My wife is on oxygen and it was a hike for someone on oxygen as well as not easy access to oxygen if we had any issues.
Ticketmaster did a great job on emailing me all the important information I needed
Absolutely amazing concert!!! We have been to lots of concerts and this was an all time favorite for me. The venue was good and the atmosphere was divine. The love of our Heavenly Father was palpable and the artists performed for Him. So very grateful we were there to experience it!!!
Sam Wesley started off the evening with an inspiring set including a yet to be released new song. Natalie Grant was amazing and brought the Spirit alive with her beautiful rendition of “O Holy Night”. Mercy Me completed the evening with their usual light hearted delivery including an enjoyable acoustic set, old dependable standards and new music. The most moving was a new song which is a sequel to “Even If” and has come from Bart’s experience during the filming of “I Can Only Imagine 2”. The entire evening was filled with Worship and Praise as would be expected from these artists.
I have always appreciated MercyMe for there music and listen to them frequently. I can say after listening to them live..going back to the recorded version was a little disappointing, as it definitely do the voices justice. I mean if I could get them to ride around with me that would be great! hehe We will be seeing them again in the future.
The music was excellent but the seating was horrible. If you a larger or taller than average you and your seatmate will be uncomfortable.
Great concert by all artists! Played entire set and went later than expected considering snowy weather that arrived that day. Highly recommend!
