We thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The entire concert was Fantastic!
Ordered tickets when first available for 4 of us. 3rd row from stage and dead center. Sam Wesley started the show followed by Natalie Grant, then MercyMe. All 3 were great!
This concert was very uplifting and heartfelt experience I have so very enjoyed ❤️
Great sounds great light show. It was a very uplifting event.
Mercy Me was awesome, sound was right on. Previous performer the sound was terrible. It was so loud that it was unpleasant. It was like the band and the singer were competing to see who could be the loudest. Thank goodness that my wife had some cotton balls that she uses to remove finger nail polish in her purse, we had to stick those in our ears to dampin the noise a bit. Would have given a 5 star but really disliked the earlier performers sound. Would have given a zero for the opening act and a 5 for Mercy Me.
Mercy Me was sooo great! We could have listened to them more.
Zack Williams was very good. Toby Mac was overpoweringly loud and I didn’t feel like they centered the performance about praising God. Not that they didn’t offer encouragement nor share testimony, but that constant driving beat, and choreographed dancing out more focus on the band vs Christ. Yeah it’s better than mainstream secular music but….. First time seeing Mercy Me. The band was excellent. The songs seemed a bit rushed. He did engage with audience and frequently just listened as the 6,000 fans sang in one accord, to his obvious pleasure. The song I Can Only Imagine, was botched. The piano intro was less than to be desired. The song itself was arranged and sung so far off the path of the recording. I get that bands do this, but this song as their final song, didn’t resonate and the crowd seemed to have lost their energy trying to figure out what they were hearing. Stick to the original and understand as much as it may be boring, that anthem song should not stray that far. No encore. I give the full show a B-.
I had purchased tickets to their show at Little Ceasers arena in Detroit as a pick me up gift for a girlfriend who lost her husband to cancer. Between the time I got the tickets and the show, she had broke her leg. The box office was quick to exchange our tickets to an area to accommodate her scooter. This show was incredible and uplifting. She said she felt her husbands spirit there with us.
Thank you for a night I needed most , The last three years have been rough lost four amazing important people in my life and was feeling lost , not knowing what to do or how to even move . But coming and watching these 3 groups help me out abundantly. And they were amazing to watch and hear and listen to their hard times and how they didn't give up .
