The performance was good and the crowd had a lot of fun. I think the guitar was way too loud relative to the singer though: it was a bit hard to here. I think maybe the sound engineer didn't hear what it sounded like from the balcony...
The place was beyond capacity I think. I left because physically could see the band or move up closer due to there being people Backed up all the way to the entrance as well as up stairs. Surrounded the bar area entirely. Made it difficult to order drinks also. In the future consider limiting tickets. But you won’t because you don’t actually care. So this was pointless. -WBPT ™️ out!
For a chill band like Men I Trust, House of Blues New Orleans was maybe a mismatch. The crowd outside of the pit was noisy as hell, talking throughout the concert and drowning out some of the instruments. For quieter bands playing at the same venue I'd arrive early to secure a place in the pit, away from the chatty rim.
Way too many people at the show, mostly for the first set in the balcony area. Had to step outside to get some air after getting overheated in the crowd. Was worried about a crowd crush most of the first set. Seemed like too many tickets were sold.
The place was top notch, the opener HOMESHAKE did a fantastic job, was soooo angelic. Men I trust was fantastic phenomenal beautifully sounded and everyone was just having vibing with the whole show!
Everyone was amazing they had air conditioning it was great the security passed out water to some people, obviously they couldn’t get to everyone but it’s the thought that counts. But overall amazing show chill crowd 10/10 experience.
The band was great, and so was the venue! I just wish I knew that "general admission" meant there wouldn't be any seats! I bought a ticket that listed a seat row number, but I ended up having to stand on the general admission floor.
It was such a great experience due to the staff being so kind, the venue being so neat and clean and the artists themselves !
Well House of Blues houston is not conducive for a great viewing experience. Crowd talked through the show.
Every person I dealt with at Van Buren was super nice, very helpful and I had a great concert experience. You could see the stage performers even back behind the crowd! ❤️
They were awesome. I would like to see them again.
ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS CONCERT AND THE VENUE! I met mac demarco, emma herself, and i saw the maria’s! This concert was an absolute masterpiece! Any spot in the venue was an amazing view, 10/10 concert. Can’t wait til they tour again!
I loved the way they connected with the audience and was showering us in love.
Loooove how they sound live. My bf who was new to indie concerts loved the show too. Emma's voice is amazing and the band sounds spectacular. I was in like another realm with MIT's music. I cried a little from the balcony. They were just soo good.
music was good!! dont get me wrong but i think they lacked a lot of energy. very silent not rlly interacting with the crowd. still good music though!!
I went to there show back in July at San Fran and they did not disappoint!! Can’t wait to go to the next concert!! I’m so happy they are having one in Los Angeles since it’s wayyy closer to me!!!
This was such an amazing experience. I got the tickets for my birthday and I couldn’t have asked for a better gift. Just got presell tickets for the show in November!!! Cannot wait!
Im a huge fan of Men I Trust. Flew from Austin to San Francisco for their show at The Greek with another fav band, Khraughbin. Their songs speak to me, resinate with my soul. It was very inspiring to see them up close and person. I will see them as often as possible! This show was amazing!
They played all the popular songs from their albums. Emma is incredibly nice, she took the time to spend with us after the concert, we all got pictures with her and got our albums signed. The band is definitely more suitable for a quieter audience, wish I get to see them in a more intimate and quieter setting.
I enjoyed going to the show so much. I wish i could see them every weekend. Emma’s voice is so beautiful and soothing. And i got an autograph after the show. The band members seemed very nice when i interacted with them. 10/10
