This one-man fusion of theatre and stand-up is based on the New York Times #1 best-selling book of the last decade by John Gray. Moving swiftly through a series of vignettes, the show covers everything from dating and marriage to the bedroom but Men Are From Mars – Women Are From Venus LIVE! is more than just the book.
After beginning in Paris in 2007, Men are From Mars–Women are From Venus LIVE! has been seen by more than one million people around Europe. It debuted in the United States in February 2013 in Raleigh, North Carolina and will be playing to audiences around the United States and Canada throughout the year.
When Mars and Venus collide, the adventures are earth-shatteringly hysterical! This show will have couples elbowing each other all evening.
Sexy and fast paced, this show is definitely for adults. It’s a great recipe for a night out: a little storytelling blended with some comedy and a dash of sage wisdom from the book.
Very funny and insightful! We were able to laugh at our differences in a comfortable setting.
Well done -peter story knows his stuff and puts on a great show See it with your significant other!!!!
Didn't tell my husband we were going to the show until right before it started because I knew he would have a negative view just by its name.....however the show was hilarious and he was laughing out loud the entire time and kept saying "that's so true!" Definitely recommend. Go as a couple or go with other couples and make it a date with friends!
I had read the book twice and loved it. We went with another couple who had no idea what was about. We all loved it, and my husband said he learned a few things. We really had a very nice time . The room was warm and the entertainer was really sweating so dress appropriately. I would recommend it. Seats could be moved alittle further apart.
Humor was very good. Content is priceless. Did not like the sex part it was a bit over the top.
The Men are from Mars Women are from Venus show was very entertaining. He was very engaged with the crowd and seemed to feed off the crowd's energy and excitement. I'd recommend this show to married couples that are looking for a fun and humorous way to get that spark back in the relationship. I went with my girlfriend and still learned a ton about the opposite sex. All in all, it was a great show and I would definitely recommend it to a friend.
please bring back again, our married children need to see this !!!!!!!!!
One man show was both funny and thought provoking. Peter Story was excellent at telling the storys of relations and the difference between men and women.
I liked going to this show. The presenter was funny, humorous but shared good and useful information
Very funny. Definitely recommend for everyone to see this - whether or not you've read the book.
My wife and I really enjoyed the show. Lot's of laughs and many of the antidotes were right on target!
very good show. It was our first experience @ the New Century Theatre and loved it. The show was funny and we are still talking about it! Thanks
We loved this show! I am always amazed when one person can hold the entire show. We lauged the entire time. I have recommended this show to friends already - it;s a must see!
Fabulous!! We rolled with laughter the entire time. It was so true! The presentation was executed well. Thank you!
Show was geared to a younger group and the seats were for sardines.
I thougt the show was excellent and very funny and entertaining
A great and entertaining show for adults of all ages!
If you've ever heard of this book, you know the subject. The show was centered around a Man (comedian) explaining all the ways he as a martian messes up with his venutian wife. Quite enjoyable using comedy to reiterate the differences between the ways men and women approach life, marriage and how their minds work in general. Something all of us in a relationship can relate too.
The dialogue was humorous. My date and I have read the book, she remarked after that some of the humor was a bit more in the gutter than she preferred.
We were among the more "senior" audience members, so I think that qualifies me to say that Peter's interpretations of John Gray's differences between the sexes were spot-on accurate. From the point system to laundry to sex, everyone in the audience found something that had impacted their life at some point in time. I think I need to see the show again if only to catch the bits I missed the first time due to laughing so hard.
