About

Texas-based Memphis May Fire has become one of the hottest metal-core tickets around, with a unique blend of post-hardcore, Southern rock, and powerful live performances. Their rhythms are tight, they know how to shred, and lead singer Matty Mullins controls a crowd like no other -- he’ll have the audience moshing like crazy one minute, inspiring them with stories about the band overcoming adversity the next. In 2012, Memphis blew away crowds during their Main Stage set at the Vans Warped Tour, and immediately followed that up with a high-profile European tour with Of Mice & Men, an American tour with Asking Alexandria, and a victory lap on the 2013 Warped Tour. And in the middle of all that, they released the album Challenger, which debuted at No. 16 on the Billboard 200 with the defiant and incredible song “Prove Me Right.”

It’s nothing new for the band, though. All the way back in 2009, the band’s very first album, Sleepwalking, generated to the popular single “Ghost In The Mirror,” which was featured on the Saw VI soundtrack, and earned the band recognition as one of Revolver Magazine’s Top 25 Under 25. Since then, they’ve released two more albums and toured the world, but they’re not done yet. In 2014, they’ll continue to push forward, not only releasing their fourth album, which Mullins describes as more mature and more orchestral, but they’ll also be playing more concert dates in the UK and beyond.

Hubby and I absolutely loved all the bands, ease of getting into the venue, and availability of seating. The sound was great, too. Will definitely be back for more concerts in the future. 😊

  • Memphis May Fire sound guy burning incense sucked.

by Tom Tom Tommy on 5/20/25Center Stage Theater - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

Overall I really liked the venue. The stadium seating option for GA was pretty cool although we did spend the time on the floor. Entry into the venue was quick and painless and the bar and bathroom setup made it easy to get to between bands. Easy to grab water also. A bar menu with prices would be a nice touch. We spent the show in front of the sound and light control boards on that railing. I really liked our spot and when the final act memphis may fire came out their sound or light guy lit up incense. He said you all smell bad referring to the crowd in general. He kept burning it through out their show. It was really really annoying because the incense smoke flowed right past our noses since it was less than two feet from us. I thought it was a smoke free venue? Yeah I know we could have and likely should have moved but when you have your spot you have your spot.

Every band there had great energy. I came to see wind walkers, but left a Memphis May Fire fan. MMF has amazing stage energy and I can't wait to see them again

This venue is fabulous. The treatment given to patrons with disabilities is above and beyond, much better than some of the other venues I've been to. Getting in and out is flawless and the entire building rocks.

The show was excellent. Enjoyed the openers, and Memphis May Fire was amazing as always! I love going to The Underground, and I wish more artist would use it. I don’t think there’s a bad foot in the place.

Amazing performance by all of the bands, but Memphis was definitely not messing around! My ears were still ringing the next day! They sound as good live as the do on record. Must see!

  • Filmore Charlotte Nailed It

by Medicated Medic on 5/18/25The Underground - CharlotteRating: 5 out of 5

We've attended many shows at the Filmore Charlotte and this was the 2nd one of '25. We were expecting a lot from the venue and LiveNation and they did not disappoint. Filmore and LiveNation absolutely nailed it and 150% understood the assignment.
