  • AMAZING Van Halen Tribute Band

    by K. B. on 2/27/23House of Blues Houston - HoustonRating: 5 out of 5

I was fortunate to see their debut at Lava Cantina in The Colony, TX (north of Dallas) and they were AMAZING! So when I read they were going to be at the House of Blues, Houston ---> ROAD TRIP. Mean Street is an amazing group of some of the best musicians in the DFW area that have evolved into the best Van Halen tribute band I've seen. Jet (singer) is an great front man.

  • Great show

Loved seeing all of the hits played, the guys gave a lot of energy!

  • Great Place

by Ron on 1/9/23Tannahill's Tavern and Music Hall - Fort WorthRating: 5 out of 5

The bands were both awesome and I really like the venue. The only thing I would change would be some non-reserved seating inside the concert area. Being a little older standing for over 2 hours is not comfortable for me.

  • Back in Black Was Great - But Nothing Else

by Bagel on 1/9/23Tannahill's Tavern and Music Hall - Fort WorthRating: 1 out of 5

I've seen Back in Black a few times before and they are always awesome. However, Mean Street was not. In addition, this venue could use a lot of improvement. Parking in the Stockyards in a real pain (which can be expected). However, no bartender at that place could make a proper mixed drink. They were so sweet, I couldn't even drink one - I had to sit it down and walk away. On top of that, the pricing for drinks was inconsistent. I ordered three of the same thing, and each bartender charged me something different. One was $18, one was $16 and another was $20. I ordered the same drink from the same venue, same bar, so why were the prices always different? In addition to that, their reserved seating price was outrageous. When I bought my ticket, I paid $26 for GA, which was all that was available. When I got there, they said we could purchase reserved seating, which was half price. The half price was $110. Why would anyone pay that much to see a cover band?

  • Nostalgic Fun

Fun night, took me right back to the 80’s! The guitarist was pretty incredible.
