    Good Event

    by Oro on 8/29/23

The pageantry was nice. Seeing two HBCU’s lit in a good display was good. Was surprised that at halftime, both bands played to the press box home side. That sort of left visitor side fans not as engaged. Recommendation: each band should play to their home crowd. Secondly, quality of food with food vendors was good. But more vendors are needed. I’ve attended the event for years and lines are extremely long. As a matter of fact, from visitor side 50 yard line all the way past the end zone area up to about the 20 yard line, there is a dearth of food vendors (none)..just empty kiosks. Recommendation: more food vendors need to participate in the food sales process or allow food trucks inside the stadium. Overall, I enjoyed the event. However a few tweaks can take the experience from good to great.

    MEAC/SWAC REVIEW

    by Shelton on 8/29/23

Getting to parking Green Lot was very good. The walk to and from the Lot could have been closer or they should have Golf carts running back and forth. Getting into Gate 6 was ok. They should have had more gates open. Getting to our seats was great, but getting drinks took almost the 1 quarter of the game. The stadium needed someone to keep the restroom clean its was nasty by half-time. Overall I give y'all a -B. Also could not find tailgate information. It seems the only option was to tailgate where you park. I liked when we used to have a tailgate area to buy and setup.

    It was Lit but hot!!!!

    by HBCU Fan on 8/29/23

So salute to both teams and everyone in attendance!!! It was a good experience but there needed to be people walking around selling water and cold beverages in the stands. The lines were extremely long for people to get beverages. It would have also been good to have ice cold water at the gates once everyone entered. That’s my only complaint.

    Fun. Family. HBCU

    by Chucky on 8/29/23

A lot of excitement and seeing old friends. Tickets were reasonably priced this year, which accounts for the large crowd. Continue to make this a Family & Fun game at low price for all to attend. The GA Heat was crazy…

GREAT HBCU GAME, GREAT HBCU CONCEPT

    by UNCLE WOODY on 8/8/23

I have enjoyed The HBCU KICKOFF CLASSIC each year that’s been in Atlanta, at PARC STADIUM., and I look forward to the 2023 HBCU CHAMPIONSHIP GAME at MERCEDES BENZ DOME in December. I have not had a problem parking any more so than when I’m at the Braves Stadium or when I’m at The Dome. I’ve attended a Georgia State game and didn’t have trouble parking either. I’m going this year I’ve purchased 21 tickets for family and friends, I will continue to support OUR GAME which is FUBU.. For Us By Us. Go JSU, Go SCSU.

If you’ve never attended an HBCU Football Game…

by TLG - MBC Alumni on 6/21/23

I can understand the the negative comments, and I know it do not help now. But… it appears that the negative comments are from those who’ve never attended an HBCU ‘Classic’ Football event. These events are so popular and draws extremely large crowds, for the venues. You have to be prepared a week in advance and arrive hours prior to the start of the game. Yep, two hours in advance might not be enough time. Knowing is most of the battle.

    Disappointing

by Kim on 9/6/22Center Parc Stadium - Atlanta

My family and i were looking forward to attending the game before our daughter deployed, but boy were we disappointed. When we attrived at the parking lot we were turned away because it was full although we purchased a $25 parking pass. After paying for another space we made it to the stadium only to be told we couldn't enter because of a rain delay. The rain delay was over an hour-the delay couldn't have been avoided, but the stadium would not let anyone in until the delay was All entrances were closed and everyone was forces to stand outside getting soaked. It would've been nice if everyone would have been permitted to stand under the stadiums seating.

Wrong location to continue hosting this game.

    by C. A. on 9/2/22

This is my fourth time attending the kickoff game and will be my last time attending if you keep it at this location. With all of the townhouses or apartments being built in this area, you do not have space for parking. I purchased 12 tickets for me and friends and only 7 of us was able to find parking. The others went back home. Need to move this game to Mercedes Benz Stadium!!!

    SEASONED BUT LESS

by PEACHES on 9/1/22Center Parc Stadium - Atlanta

The experience was awesome. If this is a part of your responsiblity there needs to be better parking for the older fans, a specific area closer to the stadium or carts to transport the elderly. The process was easy to enter and exit. The seating was great. It was just too congested in that area with no parking. We had a bus of seniors over age 60 who had to walk too far. OVERALL A GREAT ECPERIENCE AND AN AWESOME OUTCOME.

    Disappointed

by Shockie34 on 8/31/22Center Parc Stadium - Atlanta

I know we can't control the weather, but this was poor judgement and consideration on the athletics, bands, and fans. The game should have been called earlier. I have enjoyed all previous games, and will continue my support. ESPN what was your role?

    Too much walking

by DJ on 8/31/22Center Parc Stadium - Atlanta

There is no parking around the stadium at the park a mile away and won't make up for a 60 year old man with leg problems that is not good we're not attend a game at that Stadium again
