The venue was perfect. Good game even though my team lost. The prices were decent, however, the lines were extremely long at the concession stands. It would have been nice to have more options available. Section 116, on the 50yd line, the seats were great!
They didn't have enough food choices nearby and the bathrooms didn't have enough stalls.
Beside losing the game (Not your fault) sitting on the visitors side made it difficult to see the big screen.
This is always a great experience and the location is great. I would love to see the SWAC versus MEAC matchup continue year after year.
Parking was awful. No police to help direct traffic. Concession lines were understaffed and sold out of product (water). Left at the end of the first quarter to get food and drink and it was after halftime when I returned. PA system was horrible. You could hear but not understand anything that was being said.
Everything was great but the gates need to be open earlier
The ease of Ticketmaster was excellent, scanning of the tickets were great, the game sucked, I am an SC State fan.
The game was awesome as my team won! However the venue leaves a lot to complain about. The vendors for food and drink are not adequate for the number of people attending this event. My brother left his seat (in the 1st qtr) to go buy a beer and a bottle of water. It took him over 30 minutes. My experience at this venue has always been disappointing. That's why I eat and drink, before I leave home. I did purchase a frozen lemonade. But I did so because this gentleman had the shortest line. It only took me 5 minutes and I did that as I made my way to my seat. Please improve the vendor participation or move the event to a more conducive location.
Excellent venue and professional venders! Game was “GREAT”!!!
I got the $10 parking. The walk tot he stadium wasn’t far. The vibe and the atmosphere was lit.
The personnel that worked the entry into the dome was not well organized nor prepared to handle the massive of attendants. Concession at some places had only one worker and not staffed for the massive attendance.
It was a very exciting game. The venue was great but could have had more concessions open. It was very hot and seemed like no air conditioning was being used. Bathrooms were very warm. Also the parking could be better organized.
I thought the game, halftime event and atmosphere were great. The only major problem would be the concession stands. For the second straight year, there were long lines with waiting times over 45 minutes. For attendance to be around 20k, this is not acceptable! I wonder if Georgia State University has the same problem during their home games.
This is not a venue that I would want to return to ( Prefer Mercedes Benz, Truist Park and State Farm arena). The bathrooms were disgusting. Most were out of toilet tissue during the first quarter. We could not hear the announcer at all the entire game, it was very muffled. The seats were extremely uncomfortable so spent the second half of the game standing up near the MEAC/SWAC sign with friends. Location of the one scree was not convenient for our viewing, so it would be great if there was another one placed in the opposite direction. Concession lines were so long we didn't even bother.
I went to the game hoping it was one to Brag about. instead of battling in the trenches we sat on the side line for the majority of the game. I know this is not a conference game but it was our time to shine in front of a National audience. We made Jackson State's chest swell tremendously. To add to this I was disappointed in the venue. Food Stands were not all accessible (closed) and the bathrooms were poorly Managed. This is a big NO for me when in a public place where I am paying for Luxury and it is not appreciated. The good part about this event is, I was constantly updated on how to handle my tickets. Parking could have been faster and more efficient. Overall, I like the fact that this event is sponsored and allows the world to view the talent that is at these two conferences. Where were the celebrities? While we were outside, did they elect to stay in the air condition or were they even there? I know you don't control donors but it was not motivating to see a check going to one school with a big emphasis and nothing going to the other. Prior to this announcement the schools could have thought about how this looked.
We all know that we cannot control the sun. It was humid there. Breeze came through every now and then. Overall, the game was great. I enjoyed the game, crowd, the fans of JSU. It would have been nice to have some elevators.
Excellent time in the stadium and enjoyed the game.
The Football Game overall was good the only thing I noticed was not enough food stands in the Arena.
The whole energy of the experience was awesome! SCSU and JSU did their thing!
