  • Maze featuring Frankie Beverly was Fabulous

My very first time seeing Maze, K'Jon, and Babyface in concert. I was very pleased it was just great to see them as well and being there. That was a great first experience. Something i didn't expect was El Dabarge, Babyface brought him out as a surprise guest. I had never seen in in concert either. I was just elaided throughout the whole concert. To end it all Frankie song every song that i love the most. I would most defenitly want to see them again very soon. I will be checking ticket masters to see where else they will be so that i can be apart of the experience again.

  • Frankie Beverly turned it out, yet again!

    by BamaG10 on 3/23/10Boutwell Auditorium - BirminghamRating: 5 out of 5

As always, Frankie turned it out! A surprise guess--El Debarge turned it out too. You missed it guys. We always try to follow Frankie, as long as he's in the Southeast. My husband loved it!

  • Frankie and Baby Face were off the Chain!

    by Cee1 on 3/23/10Boutwell Auditorium - BirminghamRating: 5 out of 5

I really enjoyed the performance by Frankie, Baby face, and Debarge. Was not able to get into K'jon due to the sound system. I've attended many concerts there at the Boutwell and the sounding seems to be off which distract from the performance......But my overall review of this concert is TWO THUMBS UP!!!!!!!!! and I would recommend it to anyone.

  • Maze w/Frankie Beverly & Babyface was off the hook

by lovelyhearts on 3/23/10Boutwell Auditorium - BirminghamRating: 5 out of 5

I saw Maze featuring Frankie Beverly and Babyface in Atlanta at Chastian Park last summer and that concert was off the hook. When I heard the same line-up was coming to Birmingham I had to see the show again. I was not disapponted at all and all the people around me had the same feelings. K'Jon needs so additional grooming

The concert was awesome. I had never seen Maze before in concert, I heard that he put on a very good show. I thought that Babyface was the Bomb, and when Debarge came out this really got me in the mood for a good concert.

  • by vipvop on 3/23/10Boutwell Auditorium - BirminghamRating: 5 out of 5

The concert had "extras" throughout the show from the opening act (not K'Jon) to El Debarge coming on stage with Babyface; singing all his his hits!!! The show started on time with little time wasted between acts. Frankie Beverly and Maze were amazing and gave us a good show. I really feel I got my money's worth at this event!!!!! K'Jon was good too!!!

  • Retirement

by UniqueKeke on 3/22/10Boutwell Auditorium - BirminghamRating: 4 out of 5

The concert was great. I went for my 31st birthday. Babyface and El DeBarge are the two I will never forget. But Frankie Beverly Maze may need to check his vocals. Sounds like he may be sick. K'Jon was good seeing that his band got left behind and he had to sing along with a CD. The overall show was a 4 1/2.

  • Frankie Beverly Bham 3.21.10

The concert was great! Frankie always gives a great show. BabyFace was great too and K'Jon was good as well.

  • Smooth groove like never before

    by FiFi323 on 3/22/10Boutwell Auditorium - BirminghamRating: 5 out of 5

I really enjoyed the Maze featuring Frankie Beverly and guests. K'Jon was good. He has a real natural sound. Baby Face was unforgettable and when El Debarge came out I almost passed out. It was great. Then came the finale. Frankie Beverly just gets better and better as the years go by. Such stamina for a man of his years. Without a doubt the best performances I have ever seen in a concert in the Ham. This was a chart topper.

  • Maze featuring Frankie Beverly with special guests

by AnthonyL on 3/22/10Boutwell Auditorium - BirminghamRating: 4 out of 5

Maze w/Frankie Beverly were fantastic, out of site, I thoroughly enjoyed myself and their performance. Baby Face was excellent. I loved his performance and appreciated his surprise guest "El Debarge". K'Jon should be embarassed. That was a nonprofessional performance. He sung for about 15 minutes. I'm sorry his band was left in Miami, FL, as he stated, but this show has been booked for more than 2 months, there's no excuse. I paid $211.00 for my tickets and K'Jon robbed me!

  • by Anonymous on 3/22/10Boutwell Auditorium - BirminghamRating: 5 out of 5

this concert was excellent! Babyface was great and his special guest of El DeBarge was fantastic! And of course, there are no words to describe Frankie Beverly and Maze. This was a terrific concert.

  • FRANKIE B IS TIMELESS

by BAMANEZ on 3/22/10Boutwell Auditorium - BirminghamRating: 4 out of 5

Frankie Beverly is like going to a Baptist church. It is truly a revieval of spirit and of mind. That's the Golden Time of Day.
