The hilarious and successful Iranian-American stand-up comedian, Maz Jobrani returns to Australia this July!
Jobrani’s comedy tackles topics of politics, race, religion and other common issues that exist in our daily lives.
He takes pride in breaking down stereotypes about Iranians and the Middle East in general, and at a time when the Middle East and the West are in deep rooted conflicts Jobrani sets out to help bring the two worlds closer together.
His insightful and hilarious routine has challenged and entertained audiences world-wide including the King of Jordan. Jobrani has performed stand up on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and The Late Late Show has had numerous roles in film and television.
Most recently, Jobrani starred as the title character in the award-winning indie comedy, Jimmy Vestvood: Amerikan Hero, a film which he co-wrote and produced. Other film work includes Ice Cube’s Friday, After Next, and TV guest appearances include Malcolm in the Middle, Still Standing, The West Wing, NYPD Blue, Without a Trace, ER, Law & Order and Curb Your Enthusiasm and Grey’s Anatomy.

“Devilishly funny” - LA WEEKLY
The show was scheduled to start at 8:00. We got there around 7:45 and there was a huge line outside. It was hard having to check tickets as well as vaccination records. We finally sat down. The show started 15 minutes or so late. The air quality was very low. It was hard to breathe with a mask on. The show overall was good but Maz made up for it. I hadn’t laughed that hard in months.
Been waiting for years to see Maz in person & he did not disappoint! Still laughing a few days later. Very glad an extra show was added so I could see him. Also loved his warm-up comics. Come back asap!

Maz wasn't just funny, his comedy was also very thought provoking. Aside from being constantly hilarious, he connected so well with the audience the whole time.
Maz was great! He was hilarious... He kept the crowd engaged throughtout entire show. Having Tehran Von Ghasri who is extremely entertaining open for him was genius because the have perfect synergy and it shows in their proformance.

Maz did not dissapoint! The opening act by Tehran was actually quite good. At some point I was worried that he stole all Maz’s jokes lol!
Loved the show. Everything was well organized. It would be better if there were clear instructions on how to het to the hall.
This was amazing, both Tehran and Maz are experts. Everyone laughed the whole time during their show. I loved that Maz was so creative with his subjects and didn’t repeat his old shows. I wish I could go again 😊
What a fun night! I always make it to Max’s show and his first act, Tehran, was also a hit! Love the energy and laughs. Can’t wait for the next one!

Maz is hilarious and has an intelligent humor. What a great show!
All jokes were on point and relatable from both of the comedians. Felt like it was family roasting on each other. Everyone and their mom got made fun of. Maz and Tehran seemed genuine and down to earth. Flash photography was not allowed and regular (without flash) recording wasn’t allowed either.
Going in the even was easy, it was well organized and the show was funny
Maz is so good! But they shouldn’t have sold the balconies seats because people couldn’t see the stage from balconies at all! For me it was just watching him on the screen! Not the stage!
His performance was so funny, all the money I spent in the ticket was well worth it.

The show was excellent! Maz was incredibly funny. I hope that he returns to Boston soon. I will see him every time that he is in Boston.

Great comedy with several excellent comedians as warm up. Nice mix of ethnicities of comics from around the U.S., Asia, Middle East, including Israel. Equally nice mix of people in the audience.
