“Devilishly funny” - LA WEEKLY
It was a great stand up comedy show. I laughed out loud. It made my week.
Maz is a delight! His down to earth storytelling is hilarious—especially stories about his family interactions (Iranian/Indian/ American/etc ) And can he ever AD-LIB with the audience!! So funny yet he never is derogatory against other nationalities—all in good fun and the audience eats it up. Wonderful show Going to find his YouTube act next!
The venue had a terrible smell when we entered and they said there might be dead rodent somewhere and when we asked for mask they said they ran out and were trying to get some but they never did, very bad experience but Maz was great
Hilarious, smart, witty. Maz is the man and provided us with lots of much needed laughs.
This is the second time I went to see Maz in this location. Even though the show itself was great as usual, the theatre smelled soooo bad!! Every one of us audience were in such pain sitting in our place watching the show. Even Maz and the performing crew mentioned that trying to make a joke out of it! Also we were not able to find a parking spot in the designated parking deck! So we had to drive further down to another parking deck and were charged $30 !!! What a ripoff !! Overall I was very disappointed about The Buckhead theatre. Would never go there.. eventhough I love Maz. I hope he picks up another location on his next tour
We went to the punch line comedy club in Philadelphia to see Moz Jobrani, and unlike many comedy clubs, it was spacious and well organized. The food was great and the wait staff was terrific. I would highly recommend both this venue and Moz,who was hysterical as always!
Excellent job Maz and Tehran we are proud of you. Thank you
Really enjoyed the show, great night. Maz is funny and Tehran was cherry on top
Cozy arena setting. Another comedian was performing at the same casino which may have lessened the numbers in Jobrani's audience. However, Jobrani brought homespun humor to the stage as if the venue was packed. He (and his opener), were funny and connected their cultural experiences with us. Although I did not understand the few times he spoke another language, the laughter was infectious nonetheless.
This was my first Maz show, and I must say that he did not disappoint! I laughed so much, my jaw started hurting by the end. Given a chance, I will definitely go see him again.
Open for maz was amazing as well as Mr jabroni, simply couldn’t stop laughing, definitely would see him again in future
Maz Jobrani was better than I expected!! Go see him immediately!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
He is funny and his jokes are relevant to the current events. He is sensitive about all races and ethnicities and still very funny!
Saw him @ NJPAC & was very disappointed with the show! The 2 comedians that opened for him were terrible!
Maz, along with the opening act, Tehran (extremely funny), were able to have an audience, clearly made up of many diverse cultures, laughing the whole time. We were all united for an evening!
I hadn’t laughed in a long time like this! Maz and Tehran are both professional comedians. Love it! Can’t wait to see them again. Thank you Maz! Thank you Tehran for creating such a fun evening.
Although the comedians were quite talented, the majority of the show was based on racial jokes and support for Iranians. I am not opposed to any of the content per say, but as a Caucasian couple, the show did not hold much entertainment value for us. I would not see them again and wish I hadn't spent the money.
The venue was excellent, from the staff to the seats. I have been to Maz once before and enjoyed his first show more than this one. Maz seemed to not be as funny as his last show , but to his defense , his country is going through some horrible times and he has been an amazing advocate of this “revolution “. My wife is Persian and also has been going through the stress that the current regime is putting on all the Iranian people all across the world. I only pray that there will be change soon . Keep it up Maz ! I will not ever miss your future shows when you are in the atlanta area , because you and Tehran are a great comic team!
I can't tell you the last time I laughed so hard! I have never needed such a pick-me-up as I did that night! We we saw Maz Jobrani at SF Palace of Fine Arts, Feb. 11, 2022, 8:00 pm show. The warm-up acts were Tehran Von Ghasri and Dhaya Lakshminarayanan, who were super funny and entertaining, considering the crowd was late in getting seated, due to the long line of attendees waiting for their vaccination status to be confirmed at the door. It felt comforting to know that Palace of Fine Arts was checking for vaccines + boosters. Tehran was irreverent as always, but spot on! Dhaya was relatable, and balanced Tehran's male-oriented jokes with her female-oriented ones. Together with Maz, they make quite an international and diverse trio! Once warmed up, the audience was ready for Maz! As always, he picked on various members of the audience to connect, build stories and relate them to his jokes. Some of his classmates from elementary school in Marin were in the audience! Too funny! Maz had new material, such as Covid and Dr. Fauci jokes, which were hilarious. He also had new jokes on similar topics he always talks about it, such as his wife and kids. Maz has a way of making the audience comfortable, before hitting them with a zinger! I was laughing so hard, I started coughing, which I had to stop, or people would have thought I had Covid! He connected with the audience really well, from airport stories to technology to careers to Persian traditions. There was an ease and familiarity about Maz, and yet he transported us somehow outside our cares, while making strangers feel like we came together in a common cause. I've been so stressed recently that this show was absolutely what the doctor had prescribed! Maz is somewhat like an essential worker, because laughter is the best medicine!
He has timing he is prime time Great accents Relevant topics Well done all around
