With 2013’s Monster in the Closet, pop punkers Mayday Parade scored their first Top 10 album on the Billboard 200 and earned praise for what critics called their most emotionally accessible release to date. Drawing comparisons to Queen for its intricate vocal harmonies and guitar work, Monsters deals with life’s big diary-worthy questions on anthemic singles “Ghosts” and “Girls,” while exploring new territory on the country-influenced “Angels” and piano ballad “Even Robots Need Blankets.” Hailing from Tallahassee, Florida, the band recorded their 2007 debut before they’d even selected a band name. After settling on Mayday Parade, they went on to release Anywhere But Here in 2009 and a self-titled third album in 2011. The band earned rave reviews for their live concerts on the 2013 Glamour Kills Tour, impressing ticket buyers with their flawless precision and their generous sets featuring both old and new songs.

The concert ran a little behind but it was all worth it because I’ve waited since 12 years old to see them live. I’d never even heard of microwave but I even enjoyed their performance! Mercury Ballroom is an awesome venue as well. ❤️
Mayday Parade is my favorite band. They put on a phenomenal show! It was one of the best nights of my life!
Everything about this event was great! The venue was clean, the workers were nice, Microwave and Mayday Parade were awesome!
Other than people trying to tell us seats were general admission because they were sitting in our reserved front row seats when we got there, it was great! They moved and we had so much fun!
First time seeing a show at The St. Augustine Amphitheater. This venue is awesome. Highly recommend. Mayday Parade was amazing. Check out setlist.io for their latest set before going and you won't be disappointed.
The Venue was awesome, the drinks were delicious, and the bands rocked! We had an amazing time. And met so many bee friends!
My favorite band and they did NOT disappoint!! Best concert I’ve ever been to, by far!!!!!
They will never disappoint and I will always love this band! Thank you for everything!!!
venue was great! mayday parade was super high energy and engaging with the crowd. loved everything about it
When the scheduled start time is 8pm, i expect the band to start playing at 8pm. They didn't actually start the show until almost 9pm. Keep in mind, it's Sunday night, and most people have school or work the following morning. We drove over an hour to get there and i knew we would get home late, but i didn't expect them to make it later... I was disappointed in the set list. I didn't realize that they were going to be playing songs from bands that inspired them. When i purchase a ticket to see a band in concert, i'd prefer to hear their music, not someone else's. Needless to say, since they started late, and played songs i wasn't there to hear, we left 45 minutes into the show. We were ultimately disappointed as this was a band we grew up listening to and were excited to relive our teenage years for a night. The venue itself was okay. This was our first time at this one in particular, so we were surprised when it was mostly standing room only. Luckily, we found seats, but i couldn't imagine how the people who had to stand's feet felt the next day after waiting so long for the band to start. Ultimately, it certainly was not the best concert I've been to...
Concert was hands down one of the best ones I've ever went to. Lived how up close and personal it was.
Mayday Parade always gives an awesome show, they never disappoint. Venue was small and you had great views from no matter where you were. I’ve seen Mayday Parade 14 times and look forward to the next 14 or more.
I've seen Mayday Parade a million times. Every time is like the first, it's amazing. However, at this last show, the venue was absolutely horrid. Paradise Rock Club security guards i'm sure are very cynical about the types of people that come out to those shows. The venue was so overcrowded, like 50+ tickets too many. Which normally is never an issue, unless you're at this "Paradise" Rock Club. Attendees are expected to stay in the lines of the venue, so you have clear exits and walkways. I get that, we all do. But when the place is so overcrowded that it's literally impossible to be within those lines, well, get ready to be absolutely verbally assaulted and physically if you don't abide or try explaining what's going on. I will absolutely never buy another ticket to this venue.
i ❤️ Mayday parade!! this was my first time at this venue also and it was so nice and my overall experience for this show was great
The show was fantastic. Mayday covering classic emo songs was a great experience. However the venue did more than just sell out. There was no breathing space. The entrance lobby was incredibly small, and the audience was backed up into it.
All the people who performed with MP were great!!!
This was by far one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. Sound quality was excellent and vocals were so ON POINT. They played a good mix of songs from all their albums and the stage set was interesting as well. I want to go to ALL of their shows!
Had so much fun! All the bands/performers were incredible. Every time my favorites come to the Anaheim House of Blues, I make sure to grab a ticket ASAP. Great venue, great atmosphere, great music!
Mayday Parade puts on the BEST shows! Always - no monitors, ear pieces, tracks -- just fantastic live music. One of the best bands I've ever seen live.
