Show started at 7 pm. Two warmup guests spent an hour. Matt wrapped up in 1 hr at 9 pm, saying they need to clear to room for show at 10:30pm. . Not worth for a $400 ticket at all. Rate two star for seeing the "GREAT"Matt Rife.
Had excellent floor seats near stage but was uncomfortably squishy as they squeezed too many chairs. Paying top dollar I expect not to touch a stranger next to me. I thought Matt Rife killed it, and the audience seemed to enjoy his show. However, was disappointed that Matt didn’t interact more with the audience. He only spoke with two people and spent too much time on one wierdo who thought she could summon dead people/orbs. You could hear tons of comments of the audience that we didn’t come to see some wacko and he should quickly move on & keep the show going. Also didnt like the push at the end for the merchandise. That seemed a little tacky / used car salesman. Overall I probably won’t spend the money again to see him live. Id skip the expensive seats and buy cheaper section. I do wish him much sucess in his career.
He is as funny in person as he is on shows or TikTok. I had a great time! Would definitely book again if I could.
I was at the show in Vegas on 9/8 and about 20 minutes into the show I yelled "take your shirt off"and was immediately escorted out, no warning or anything. They stated that the one comment made me a "heckler". Anyone who is a fan of Matt's would know that he is quite known for engaging with his audience. I didn't see a memo there that this show was different or that the comedian changed overnight but ticketmaster doesn't seem to care and it's just unfortunate that a performers misrepresentation of how they work and how their shows go cost me as much as it did with ticketmaster not giving a care in the world to make it right. No longer a customer, very disappointed.
Easily one of my favorite venues in Vegas. I’ve seen many concerts/shows here. The show was also hilarious! Even the openers were great.
The venue seating was awful! I was in the floor section and the seats were too close. I left half way through it was so bad. Matt's performance was on at best. The two opening acts were not that great.
Matt rife was hilarious. He has some good jokes and really keeps the audience participation up.
First off, when we bought our tickets. The first set said general admission but “obstructed view” so I UPGRADED our tickets. To get there and find out that they were all general admission, standing room only. So we paid $500 extra for quite literally the same exact thing. We brought this up to staff member and how the seats did not say standing room only. They said they’re aware of the issue but nothing they can do. As far as the show. Started 30 minutes late. When you’re standing in heals that not fun. The first opener was ok. Second was great. Matt did a good job, pretty much no crowd work which was kind of boring. But he did a really great job at shutting down audience members were screaming and being disrespectful. And for that alone we can respect it.
Best comedian show I have ever went to laughed so hard my belly hurt leaving the show highly recommend and I will definitely be going to more in the future!!
I’ve been looking forward for Matt’s show since tickets went on sale. I am s fan but I wish I weren’t. The attendees at the show were 70% female between ages 21 and 60+ and have no shame or manners. Matt can hold his own with hecklers but he was objectified and harassed due to his looks and charm. I was embarrassed to be a female fan. If he was a woman and male fans spoke to him in the same manner as these female fans did at The Chelsea, folks would be appalled. It’s unacceptable and frankly made the energy during the show unwelcome and cringeworthy. No reason to declare that you need tissues to wipe yourself down or scream at him to take his shirt off. We are all human and deserve respect for our talents and not for how we look. Do better.
After seeing YouTube videos and various others I was expecting a good show but was disappointed on the lack of actual comedy. The floor seats of the venue was packed like sardines which made for an extremely uncomfortable show to sit through. Especially after paying 500 plus dollars per ticket.
My bff and I had such an amazing time. Worth the price of tickets. Matt was engaging and hilarious. Would love to see him again.
Man I have been looking for Matt Rife tickets all day and 0 are available. I even checked to see if I could fly to a different city to watch alone. I love Matt Rife and his use of the audience for his jokes. It makes for a fun time for everyone. However; I have never been able to see him live. It sucks because I was going to go alone so I could get a seat and that didn’t work out either! So sad and it sucks. The one person who has been able to make me laugh through more than enough sad events just in the past 6 months to last for a good 20 years! Keep making people laugh Matt, you are great! And I will continue finding the videos and watching from afar! You have really helped this lady smile when I didn’t think I would be able to!
Lived up to every expectation after watching him forever on social media…can’t wait to see him live again!!
Matt Rife's delivery is on point. He cant do as much crowd work in such a large venue but as always Matt was HILARIOUS. Easy to get in, easy to get out, Ocean did great as well.
Had a great time - his 2 friends open for him and they are equally so funny and if you can imagine he's cuter in person than on TikTok - and so genuinely humble and grateful to play for these crowds.
I couldn’t stop laughing. This show was so funny and enjoyable. I will definitely be buying tickets in the future to see Matt again. I had a great seat in a front section although next time I would definitely like to be in front row so no one blocks my view. Overall I’m so glad I went!
We came based on Matt's IG account, showing hilarious crowd work. Unfortunately, most of the show was his material (which was OK), and he only interacted with one person in the crowd the whole time. It might sound peaky, but no one around us really ROFLed or anything.
This experience is one for the books. From the entry to the exit and the VIP experience. Bob, an usher at Ovation Hall was one of my favorites. I travel alone and he made sure to keep checking on me and would tell me little stories while we waited for the show to begin and even found me after before I left to ask how I thought it was. 10/10 recommend Bob from Ovation Hall. The show was spectacular, though I sat near two less than stellar attendees who felt the need to heckle each comedian. The guys took it in stride and made the entire room laugh with their jokes. I was fortunate enough to be able to meet Matt after the show and he is hands down one of the most down to earth human beings I've ever met. Charming is an understatement, but he's above all else, real and magical. If the opportunity ever rises again I hope to be able to see him.
