Matt Johnson's Piano Fiasco Tickets

The humor was poor as were the piano and singing performances. We left 45 minutes into the show. It was just that bad.

Not an ideal event for those born after the Vietnam War. Thankfully, we went with a fun group. The pianists ignored a number of fun requested songs, but really drew out their version of Three Dog Night's Joy to the World. If you're going, don't expect to hear much by the Beatles, but be plenty ready for corny jokes, audience participation, and songs written before 1990. Fun night out, but I don't know that we'll go again.

The show was lots of fun while the two stuck to the piano playing/sing-along format. However, as the evening wore on (and the players imbibed more), the evening descended to really vulgar (and repetitive) jokes. They are great piano players and know an extensive repetoire so the jokes weren't really needed.

My husband and I went to see the show together and we really enjoyed it. They are very entertaining and funny. We were especially surprised about how cheap the tickets were considering that they played nonstop for about 2 1/2 hours! We can't wait to come again with friends.
