About

Former teen heartthrob Matt Goss has come a long way since his denim-clad days as lead vocalist and one third of ‘80s boy band Bros. With twin brother Luke taking care of the drums and vocals and bass player Craig Logan, Bros enjoyed a string of hit singles before disbanding in 1992. At the peak of their powers, Bros smashed records across the world, including being the first group to sell out Wembley Arena for a 15-night concert series. Just around the corner from the arena, Matt led Bros into the iconic Wembley Stadium, becoming the youngest man to headline the venue - an achievement he still holds today.
Upon embarking on his career as a solo artist, Goss released his debut album, The Key, in 1995. Changing direction to a more adult-oriented dance sound, Goss collaborated with producer Paul Oakenfold on trance inspired single “Firefly” in 2010. Focusing on writing rather than performing, brought Matt Goss a new found lease of success. In writing the theme for the US TV show So You Think You Can Dance and the track “Change Me,” as recorded by Akon and Keri Hilson, Goss opened himself up to a whole new market. The track “Lovely Las Vegas” was even used by NASCAR as a theme song, which led to Goss performing for 140,000 people at the NASCAR Las Vegas event.
Yet another direction change saw Goss reinvent himself as a Las Vegas headline act. Working with Robin Antin, whose previous credits include the Pussycat Dolls, to create a contemporary rendition of a classic Rat Pack era Vegas show, Matt Goss signed a lucrative three-year contract to headline Caesar's Palace in 2010, following in the footsteps of acts like Elton John and Celine Dion. The live show featured a nine-piece live band and a dance troupe, and is comprised of tracks from Goss's career alongside classic Rat Pack era tracks.
2013 saw the release of the album Life You Imagine, produced by Ron Fair, who has previously been at the helm of albums by Black Eyed Peas, Mary J Blige, U2, Lady Gaga and Christina Aguilera. Fair enlisted the support of a full-sized Hollywood-style orchestra for the album, which contains both new original material and a big band reworking of the Bros hit When Will I Be Famous.

    Very Disappointed

by Cardiff10 on 6/30/12Caesars Palace - Las Vegas

Having seen the show previously in Vegas in 2011 where we forgave the 20 min delay to the start of the show, the 2hr + length of the show without an interval was out of this world, Matt played and sang pitch perfect in the intimate theatre, he personally thanked each and every one in the audience by shaking their hand and came amongst us to play the piano - brilliant. Based on what we saw in 2011, we decided to take friends with us to see the show this year, June 2012. What a disappointment, the show again started late, was far shorter than 2011 - lasting just over 1 hour, there was no intimate piano playing, far fewer songs and we were seated in cramped conditions and felt as if Matt couldn't wait to get off stage - a feeling felt by others in the audience too - we all thought it was the interval when in fact it was the end of the show. How embarassing for us having hyped up the show to our friends. Certainly will not be recommending again! What a shame as we so enjoyed first time around. If this is the norm, do not waste your money - there are plenty of other shows in Vegas.

    Matt Goss,,,Amazing!

by Anneline on 6/26/12Caesars Palace - Las Vegas

I can honestly say this was the best show I have ever seen. Matt Hoss was amazing and I didn't stop smiling all the way through. I had great seats and even managed a photo with him after the show. I would love to come back to Vegas and see him again. Worth every penny.

Band were really good, Matt was a bit weak but maybe as the venue was small, the band were a bit too loud for his voice. Venue was cramped, we moved from our first seats as we were on top of another couple, moved to the back in the corner and better. Bought four rounds of drinks and each round was a different price!!! OK for the price.

    Matt Goss THE VOICE!

by Elite1 on 6/12/12Caesars Palace - Las Vegas

This was an amazing show from start to finish... We enjoyed it so much we went again the following day. For anyone liking Bros, Swing, Frank Sinatra or simply likes listening to a beautiful, soulful voice, this is the show to go and see in Vegas. Loved every minute, my only fault is that it didnt last longer!

The Amazing, talented and charming Matt Goss

by MisterT72 on 5/3/12Caesars Palace - Las Vegas

Forget Bros, those days are over, this is Matt Goss - the brilliant, perfectly styled soul-jazz singer. Matt turned out some amazing tunes drawing from old Vegas legends, some new variants of his Bros hits, which were hardly recognisable and all the better for it, but also some brilliant new material which he has written himself. Matt interacts brilliantly with the audience, showing his warm personality and genuine gratitude for having the opportunity to share his talent with you. The audience, on the busy Friday night I was at Caesers, was a mix of Brits and Americans, young and old, and I can tell you - everyone enjoyed themselves. There's a waitress table service throughout, and for the boyfriends and husbands tagging along there are 4 beautiful dancers to keep you entertained. Give me the air-fare and I'd be back in a shot. This is also a great value night out in Vegas terms. Go Go Go!!!

    Exceptional show...

by jhenryt on 5/3/12Caesars Palace - Las Vegas

Great performance by Matt Goss and we will be seeing him again soon. After the show, he visited with his fans and stayed until the line for pictures was gone. He also shared a round of cocktails. Talented AND personable! Frankly, the way he treated his fans is a big reason we are now huge Matt Goss fans. See you there next month.

by CJLondon on 4/15/12Caesars Palace - Las Vegas

A night not to be missed if you want a memorable stay in Las Vegas. Matt swings to old and new tunes with a great band in the old traditional Ratpack style - a true Las Vegas Show.

    Great show

by KAPinLV on 4/9/12Caesars Palace - Las Vegas

Although the show started very late (I suspect due to waiting for celebrity audience member), once it started Matt and the troop gave an excellent performance. I have already recommend to several friends.

Very disappointing. He was late 25 min, then performed for one our and at the end he disapeared in a hurry and they turned on the disco music really loud and the crowd did not have the chance to cal him back for a bis.

    Excellent value, nice vibe

by DSL2 on 4/9/12Caesars Palace - Las Vegas

Superb band, great singing and nice cosy venue made for a good night out. If only the one dirty virgin backing dancer could've managed a smile every now and again!

    Matt Goss - disappointment

by Owen3308 on 4/5/12Caesars Palace - Las Vegas

We arrived early due undeserved seating, we were shown to some nice seat toward the rear of cleopatras barge. Sadly after sitting down for 30mins & enjoying our first drink, we were told to move to other seats in the far back corner, due to VIPs who decided to watch last minute. The show was ok playing the usual rat-pack hits, but Matt Goss is nothing special, he looked bored & lacked interaction with the small intimate crowd. Luckily Vegas is a fantastic place, and plenty else to do.

    Thoroughly enjoyable Vegas schmooze

by Anonymous on 4/2/12Caesars Palace - Las Vegas

"When will I be famous" indeed! Goss is big in Vegas - a resident performer in Caesar's Palace for some time, in the eponymous "Gossy Room". We went for the cheese factor (keen to see his post-Bros reincarnation) and found our expectations exceeded - a cosy, intimate setting, great live band, and smooth vocals (better than we remember from his Bros days!) covering a great set list. A great set, thoroughly enjoyed, and definitely recommended!
