About

Former teen heartthrob Matt Goss has come a long way since his denim-clad days as lead vocalist and one third of ‘80s boy band Bros. With twin brother Luke taking care of the drums and vocals and bass player Craig Logan, Bros enjoyed a string of hit singles before disbanding in 1992. At the peak of their powers, Bros smashed records across the world, including being the first group to sell out Wembley Arena for a 15-night concert series. Just around the corner from the arena, Matt led Bros into the iconic Wembley Stadium, becoming the youngest man to headline the venue - an achievement he still holds today.
Upon embarking on his career as a solo artist, Goss released his debut album, The Key, in 1995. Changing direction to a more adult-oriented dance sound, Goss collaborated with producer Paul Oakenfold on trance inspired single “Firefly” in 2010. Focusing on writing rather than performing, brought Matt Goss a new found lease of success. In writing the theme for the US TV show So You Think You Can Dance and the track “Change Me,” as recorded by Akon and Keri Hilson, Goss opened himself up to a whole new market. The track “Lovely Las Vegas” was even used by NASCAR as a theme song, which led to Goss performing for 140,000 people at the NASCAR Las Vegas event.
Yet another direction change saw Goss reinvent himself as a Las Vegas headline act. Working with Robin Antin, whose previous credits include the Pussycat Dolls, to create a contemporary rendition of a classic Rat Pack era Vegas show, Matt Goss signed a lucrative three-year contract to headline Caesar's Palace in 2010, following in the footsteps of acts like Elton John and Celine Dion. The live show featured a nine-piece live band and a dance troupe, and is comprised of tracks from Goss's career alongside classic Rat Pack era tracks.
2013 saw the release of the album Life You Imagine, produced by Ron Fair, who has previously been at the helm of albums by Black Eyed Peas, Mary J Blige, U2, Lady Gaga and Christina Aguilera. Fair enlisted the support of a full-sized Hollywood-style orchestra for the album, which contains both new original material and a big band reworking of the Bros hit When Will I Be Famous.

    Great show

This was an entertaining show. It left me wanting more. The dancers were very entertaining. The song choices kept us tapping our toes and clapping throughout. Matt is one of those entertainers that sings with ease and looks so comfortable on stage. I would highly recommend this show.

    A true Vegas show

by NatashaB74 on 10/23/12Caesars Palace - Las Vegas

The moment you walk into The Gossy Room you know you are going to have an intimate Vegas experience. The decor made me feel like I had gone back in time to a intimate Vegas lounge with the velvet drapes and gold pillars and table service. Table service was fast and with a smile so made you feel relaxed waiting for the show to start. I was not disappointed....... the band complete with horn section were fantastic and the Dirty Virgin dancers who are part of Robin Antins dance troop were stunning. Then we come to Mr Goss himself. He performed cover songs as well as his own material to perfection. His voice just captivates you and makes you feel like he is performing just for you and makes you want to sway along. Matt also engages with the audience by chatting and mingling with the crowd which the ladies love. They was quite a bit of screaming and come on eyes from the ladies, very cute to observe. It is truly a Vegas experience so if you have the chance please go and see it, you really won't be disappointed. You don't need to be a Bros fan to enjoy this show, it really is for everyone. Enjoy x

Thank you Matt Goss for an unforgettable evening!

by JLFEMAF on 10/6/12Caesars Palace - Las Vegas

We were lucky enough to have purchased tickets well in advance, so glad we did as it was a very special night, it was Matt's 300th show in Vegas and also his Birthday! Although I have seen the show a few times, Matt, his band and the dancers never fail to impress me with their incredible talent! This is by far the best $40 spent in Vegas in my opinion! Here's to the next 300 shows, we will be back for sure!

    Tried but missed

by LagunaCoast on 9/3/12Caesars Palace - Las Vegas

Went to the show on Sat PM. 8/31 Audience was quite enthusiastic and seemed to like what they heard. I on the other hand, certainly acknowledge Matt Goss and his effort but the quality of the performance (his singing!) was not up to Vegas standards. He's a Brit (maybe that explains it) and his phraseology and timing was off. He hit’s some horrible notes and since the band is quite loud (7-8 pieces with a big horn section) in a small room, it drowns out his off-key performance. Not really sure how he has been there for 5 or so years because there are many other singers in town worthy of that billing. You think (and he intimates) he’s a Sinatra type (wears a hat – swagger etc.) but believe me, Sinatra is turning around in his grave. Overall the show is just OK with a very loud band and an average (being kind) singer.

    Matt can belt them out

by VegasShowsRock on 8/29/12Caesars Palace - Las Vegas

First saw MG at Hardrock in Vegas and they still haven't improved their line wait. I just expect to see a show that lasts longer than I have to wait in line to get seated. Over an hour for a hour show. The seating here is either very good or you get to sit away and below the stage level. Not good either. Be nice if they gave a discount price for those seats since you can only see the top half of the stage, when the dancers aren't totally blocking out the view. The band sounds great and Matt has a powerful voice. My advice, pay for VIP seating or make sure you don't get seated in the lower level. Bottom line I think it is a bit pricey for it's length.

I grew up in the UK when Bross were top of the charts, Matt is still the star today he was back then. My family and I loved the show, especially the band that back Matt and his dancers.

It was a very good show though his mic needed to be turned up slightly (he was a little hard to hear). I was personally disappointed that he played so many covers, but he probably needs to do that in vegas to cater to the tourists who don't know his music (I don't know his music much either, but I'd rather here originals then Hotel California).

    Matt Goss

by DKS0401 on 8/6/12Caesars Palace - Las Vegas

We saw Matt Goss On Sat. Night. The venue is Cleopatras Barge at Ceasars. The room was too small for the crowd and rather uncomfortable. Then the the show started 30 min late. Matt has a great voice and the band was good but the production was a little slow. Not bad, but really could use a new venue along with a little less talk and a little more action.

Matt Goss - unmissable Las Vegas show!

by AmandaLouise75 on 7/13/12Caesars Palace - Las Vegas

Matt's show is very classy - an intimate lounge show with a really classic "Vegas" vibe. He and his band perform some covers, some realy good new stuff and a couple of new takes on his older songs - something for everyone - all really good. There were people in the audience who knew of him from his Bros days and those that didn't - all enjoyed the show. My husband agreed it was a great show - and not just because of the dancing girls (who are also great)!!! If I had to pick fault - the show is not long enough!! We also met Matt a few hours before the show whilst walking round the hotel and he was lovely. I recommend picking up his CD after the show (Gossy) - really good. This show was one of the highlights of our stay in Vegas - and we love Vegas!! Wish we were still there - and if we were we would definitely check out this show again. Until next time!!

This was the best show we have seen in Vegas! Intimate theater and he made you feel a part of the show. He is an amazing singer and entertainer. We would love to see him again. We bought his CD and he graciously autographed it for our son. Thoroughly enjoyed this show and recommend it to all so plan it into your Vegas vacation.

Matt Goss late and too short

by ukap on 7/1/12Caesars Palace - Las Vegas

we stood in line and kept being told they'll let us in soon... eventually we got in and the show started at 10:05 pm. It was just getting started really and finished at 10:55 pm !! We had 50 mins of matt goss for $40 - i'd sooner have paid $60 and got an extra half an hour as this was way too short. By the time you take out his thank you's for coming etc.. he probably sung 6 songs. The unfortunate thing is he's a good singer - matt goss needs to move to a venue that gives him the full set time.
