I had a great time. I've only really listened to Matt Costa through Pandora or the like. Basically, I am not a close follower, but I went because I knew I liked everything I had heard from him. Lo and behold, as expected, a great show and I enjoy him even more now after seeing him live.

I've been a fan of Matt Costa for years now but had never seen him live. Now I know what I've been missing out on all this time. He was engaging and fun. The band sounded amazing. Bottom line, I will make a point of seeing Matt every time he is in NYC. Also, Bowery Ballroom makes any show that much more enjoyable with their downstairs bar and great balcony area.

The Bowery Ballroom was a cool venue and I was easily able to get a front row spot. Matt Costa is so incredibly talented so all of his shows are guaranteed awesome! My favorite part was when the band played together acoustically and Matt walked through the crowd. Unforgettable night! Glad he made it out to the east coast to entertain our ears with his beautiful music! If only he werent' married....<3

The Triple Rock Social Club in Minneapolis hosted Matt Costa and opening group The Blank Tapes on April 4th, 2013. The venue was small but very intimate and made me feel a close connection with both acts. At times it almost seemed like I was watching Matt Costa performing in his living room! I was impressed with The Blank Tapes, now my new favorite band, who's southern California sound was raw & melodic. They reminded me of the punk & new wave bands that passed through Minneapolis in the late '70's & early '80's. Matt Costa's set included "Sunshine", "Mr. Pitiful", "Miss Magnolia" and other fan favorites. He even played requests. Costa is a very personable performer and very gracious with his fans. He signed cd's, & took pictures with people afterwards. It was one of the best times I've had in a local club in decades! I loved it! Don't pass up a chance to see Matt Costa live!

My boyfriend and I have been fans of Matt costa for years so seeing him perform live was incredible. He sounded amazing. He. Even walked off the stage and and sang half of a song while walking around the audience! Afterward, he walked back to the little murch shop to meet all of his fans.

The venue was great and the show was even better. He started off the show by walking through the crowd and performing half of a song before getting on stage. Sometimes performers sound better recorded than live, but he actually sounded better live than recorded. It was a great show and I will absolutely see him next time he comes to Nashville.

Saw Matt Costa at Bowery Ballroom last week and loved it. He works hard and draws the audience into his performance. Would see him again whenever and wherever!
