by Davidvs on 6/27/10The Beach At Governors Island - NYCGovernor's Island was perhaps the best venue for a Pride event I have ever experienced. The NY skyline - stunning. All the A list muscle and pretty boys were there in droves - almost intimidating. But everyone had fun and it was a HUGE turnout. The space was large enough to handle everyone comfortably. The ferries were remarkably not a hassle. Who knew you could dance on a beach outside with friends during NY Pride!! Despite some pre-party naysying, this event hit it of the park. Period.
