Mat Franco is an American magician who currently hosts his own headlining residency “Magic Reinvented Nightly” at The Linq in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Rhode Island native began practicing magic at four years old, and by 15, he had already performed in a Las Vegas showcase. In 2014, Franco hit the mainstream as a contestant and eventual winner of America’s Got Talent. Franco followed the success by launching his Las Vegas residency in 2015, and within a year, the residency earned the “Best Magic Show” distinction at the Las Vegas Weekly Readers' Choice Awards. Featuring sleight-of-hand tricks, illusions, card magic and plenty more, “Magic Reinvented Nightly” stays true to its name with Franco pulling new tricks and improvised moments out of thin air every night. Over the years, he has received praise from Forbes, Billboard and the Las Vegas Review Journal, the latter of which have awarded Franco “Best Magic Show," "Best Show Room/Live Venue" and "Best Production Show." His home at The Linq was renamed the Mat Franco Theater in 2017.

Getting there

The Mat Franco Theater is located at 3535 South Las Vegas Boulevard in The LINQ Hotel + Experience resort. Guests can find parking in The LINQ garage on LINQ Lane, as well as an outdoor lot behind the hotel. Valet parking services are also available at several nearby locations. Here's a link to a Google map display of the various options in the area.

The Mat Franco Theater can be reached via the Las Vegas Monorail. The Harrah’s & The LINQ station is about a 2-minute walk from The LINQ.

    Me and a friend saw Mat Franco on 09/21. This was a special treat so I spent over $300 for front row seats..Matt does a good show, but spends alot of time in the audience behind the first 5 rows, so we ended up watching the show on the screen on the stage. Very disappointing. We would have been better off with the $79 seats or got our tickets when we got to Vegas, Found this to be true with several other shows we saw in Vegas that just because you buy the best seat it is not the best seat in the house.

    You have to see Mat to fully appreciate his talent. Not only is his magic amazing, he has an engaging personality, a wonderful rapport with the audience, and a great sense of humor. I was blown away by his performances on America's Got Talent and he's even better in person. I'm not sure what to call him, magician and illusionist just don't adequately describe his talent, he's so much better than other magicians.

    I purchased tickets for my son who was turning 30, his fiancé and myself. We were all fans of AGT and voted for Matt. Show was amazing. Matt was funny still trying to figure out how he did those tricks. Matt was doing a special on TV and invited the audience to the pool premier party. My son and his fiancé went to the premier party along with 50 others. They got to hang out with Matt and take photos with him. This made my son's birthday celebration even more special. Highly Reccomend the show

    One of my absolute favorite parts of my trip to Vegas! The performance was mind blowing and Mat is such a great entertainer! The venue is perfect and quaint - you'll be able to see with any seat in the house! Do not miss this show if you visit Vegas!!!!!!!!!!!!

    This show was amazing and a must see if you are in Vegas. The small theatre allows you to see up close even when you aren't in the front rows and he walks into the audience often performing his amazing tricks! We were so happy with the performance.

    He is a great magician - I only gave it a 4 because magic is not really my thing but my husband loved it (and is the reason we went). Entertaining and alot of fun! If you like magic I would recommend for sure. And it is not too cheesy - sometimes the magic shows in Vegas can be a bit much. Mat seems like a nice, genuine guy who absolutely loves what he does.

    We watched Mat on AGT and were rooting for him to win from the beginning and were so happy that he did. Seeing him in person just validated what we thought of him.... 1) best magician we have ever seen; 2) he is truly sincere and genuine, 3) he loves his family, and 4) he is an all around good person. He deserves a bigger audience/arena to perform and I can't wait til word gets out more so that he can go down in history as one of the BEST in his field!

    He's young and energetic, well crafted and hope he works more illusions into the act as he goes along, (ie: he has a fantastic Metamorphoses trick for sure). We were in the front row-stage left and saw more of Mat's back than front, as he tends to stand on that side-when interacting with volunteers...so just a little readjustment of body positioning and all those on the left hand side would be able to see better, (without having to look up at the displays).

    Took some friends from out of town to the show on Friday night. A bit too heavy on card tricks for my taste, but my friends really enjoyed the show and he does a great job interacting with the crowd and is a very kid friendly show.

    Mat Franco is entertaining, engaging, adorable and TALENTED!! I kept thinking that he's the next David Copperfield. His magic is exceptional - different but always amazing. The background videos of the road he took to get to where he is today is moving and really shows the commitment he had to his art from a very early age. I was lucky enough to be picked to be on stage as part of one of his acts and enjoyed every minute of it. I would highly recommend seeing him if you visit Vegas. Tickets were @ $100. Pretty reasonable for a great time!
