Mary Mary, the platinum-selling gospel duo comprised of Erica Atkins-Campbell and Trecina "Tina" Atkins-Campbell, has been a huge influence on the contemporary gospel scene in the United States, making huge strides towards helping the genre gain a mainstream following. When onstage during a concert tour, the two are known for delighting audiences with strong vocals and jubilant personalities. Frequently, ticket holders also get insight about the songs that have propelled the duo's career, thanks to stories and revelations that introduce some live renditions of popular tracks. In May 2012, Mary Mary released their most recent effort titled Go Get It. At the end of 2013, the duo announced that they were spending time in the studio to record a forthcoming album called Invincible, scheduled for release in 2014.
When the sisters signed a contract with Columbia Records in 2000, they had the distinction of being the first gospel act to record music under the label since the mid-1990s. Additionally, their debut album's first single, "Shackles (Praise You)," was a huge hit for the gospel genre. It also experienced surprising crossover success, significant chart rankings and critical acclaim. Mary Mary have won four Grammy Awards, numerous BET and Dove Awards and several other accolades throughout their impressive career. Besides their accomplishments in the music industry, the two sisters also showed an aptitude for television when they starred in a self-titled series that premiered at the end of 2012. While the sisters have excelled in music, they've displayed joyful and positive attitudes that are evident both on studio albums and during concert performances. With that outlook, it's no wonder Mary Mary are able to enjoy solid reputations in multiple entertainment arenas.
Great performance and power. I have never been experienced such live
Tasha's entire concert was electrifying. The entire crowd was on their feet for her entire performance. MLK would have been proud. Mary-Mary should have been the warm up bank for Tasha.
Tasha Cobbs-Leonard superseded my expectations as always. She is truly an anointed woman of God.
Extremely. poor acoustics. Somebody missed "Sound Check"........... Could hardly understand the words to Mary Mary music! Turn down the music "do A Sound Check"!!!!!!!!!
It was my first time to see them in concert. They were outstanding! Would like to see them again soonest in New York!
Tasha was great a must see, Mary Mary was lousy their band was too loud and over powered their voices and they only sang songs from 15 years ago and Tina talked too much.
There was no mention of MLK and it was supposed to be a Celebration. Mary Mary could have been better. To much talking about the bad marriage that’s old news.
If you’ve never experienced the Holy Ghost before, those anointed voices ensured that you did. The show was life changing.
Tasha Cobbs uplifted my spirits and I will continue to support her.
This event was a special one for me because it was my Christmas gift to myself. I traveled a long way for this concert. Tasha Cobbs had the place on fire you could have felt the Holy Spirit in the atmosphere. I love the way she took her time with her songs, she didn't rush them through, unlike Mary, Mary. The entire event should have been Tasha Cobb's ONLY.
Tasha Cobbs is a very talented and amazing artist. From the very first song to the last song i felted the spirit of the lord.
Performance Was For Phenomenal. Start to finish and Tasha Cobbs hit the stage I couldn’t sit down the whole time.
Tasha Cobbs was awesome. She needs to do show by herself . Mary Mary was so bad they talk half of the time I don’t care about your marriage affairs
Tasha Cobbs ushered in the Holy Spirit with grace and power. Amazing
The concert was just that Fantastic!! I would go see them over and over again.
Tasha Cobbs gave a more consistent show. Erica Campbell was excellent but her sister wanted to use the show as a platform for her testimony
Awesome performances by Tasha Cobbs-Leonard and Mary Mary. Very powerful and uplifting. Venue was beautiful & clean. Glad I attended this dynamic event!!!
The music felt more like ministry than a performance. Our family felt the presence of God moving in the atmosphere.
I thoroughly enjoyed myself! Headliners and pre show acts was great! I would see these acts again.
I really enjoyed the venue. Very nice. The opening acts and featured artists were all great.
