  • Over the top

by Spideymom1 on 7/16/14Tampa Bay Times Forum - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

My nine year old was amazed the entire show, my husband and I also enjoyed it. It was much more than I expected. We loved all of the motorcycle stunts, fake explosions/fires and action. All of the characters were my son's favorites and they all followed story lines that mirrored the movies, video games and comic books my son was familiar with. The dialog was also very witty, we laughed a lot.

by MissMaya77 on 7/16/14Tampa Bay Times Forum - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

This was a great show. I took my 10 year old nephew and he was amazed. These performers really gave it their all. I saw the show opening weekend and you could definitely see all of the hard work paid off. People flying thru the air, fire, explosions. The use of graphics, lights and sound made it all the more entertaining. I would recommend this for anyone who enjoys the superhero genre. It is fun for all ages.

  • Marvel Universe Live was Awesome

My two sons and I thoroughly enjoyed Marvel Universe Live. The fight scenes and special effects were amazing!

  • Definitely Entertaining

by A1020K on 7/16/14Tampa Bay Times Forum - TampaRating: 4 out of 5

Still a little cheesy, but definitely ENTERTAINING. Show did a good job of holding the audience's attention - young AND old. The video projection, soundtrack, and Jarvis as the narrator definitely helped 'super' glue the whole show together.

  • Pirotechniques were amazing

Took my four year old son to watch it, he liked everything except Lokey! Lokey scared him! haha! Great show overall, but too high priced on the merchandise.

  • LAME!

by TampaMandyD on 7/16/14Tampa Bay Times Forum - TampaRating: 1 out of 5

This show was far from how they advertised it. No wonder they had a sale for 50% off the tickets, I should have known it was too good to be true. Super heroes were far from super and show was very slow paced the whole way through. Super heroes had corny voices and lines and their was nothing super to them. You can see all of their lines as they were flying and spider mans web shooter was a laser. Stage was far to small and anytime they had motor cycles come out all they did was circles literally because they did not have room to do anything else. I would NOT recommend this show to anyone and would probably only be amusing to a 2 year old anyone older DO NOT GO! Wish I would have saved my money for a different event but their advertising for this event sounded very exciting and like something you have never seen before but that is far from what it really is! I really wish I could have rated it NO stars but that is not an option!

  • Marvel is always unstoppable

by Krazywhitegirl on 7/15/14Tampa Bay Times Forum - TampaRating: 4 out of 5

The show wasn't bad at all. I loved the story line and I thought the stage was well set up. The transactions of going from one scene to the next was perfect. The only thing I felt was that Spider-Man could have maybe done more things like shot webs? I was expecting the characters to be done up more to a point. However iron man and hulk weren't bad at all! The explosive in the story line we great as well!

This show was bad, obvious that they were still learning the show. Multiple effects and staging cues were missed or late. They should not charge full price for a show that is not ready for it's audience. It was like watching a workshop. Sloppy blocking, too much dialogue, confusing staging and lighting, just a MESS! The Iron Man costume was laughable. Captain Marvel was a waste and it's a shame that Cyclops and Storm were not really used at all. Too many superfluous stage changes and pyro. Get your act together Feld this is the second bad show we have seen in the last year.

  • Missed ther mark.

by Jon6688 on 7/15/14Tampa Bay Times Forum - TampaRating: 2 out of 5

Throughout most of the show you could barely make out what they were saying. Very bad sound quality. The storyline was a bit fragmented.

This event was a lot less technically advanced than I expected. I could see how the kids may have had fun, but it was a huge disappointment, from all the hype! Acting was poor and stunts looked fake. Liked having all the superheroes in one spot, just wish the show was better!

  • It was okay.

by Bluplanet on 7/15/14Tampa Bay Times Forum - TampaRating: 3 out of 5

Small disappointments. - Some of the "heroes" didn't appear to be super fit--a bit chunky. (Of course, that could be due to the costuming.) - Sound effects for the "super abilities/powers" were rather muted due to the music. Couldn't really tell when Iron Man fired his repulsors, when Spidey shot his webs (barely audible <thwip>), Hawkeye shot an arrow, or when Thor summoned lightning. (You saw the effect; but it didn't seem to be linked to Thor's actions. - Also there wasn't an opportunity to take photos with the characters post-show. That would really have made a lot of people's day; especially the kiddies!

  • Marvel Universe Live was AWESOME!

by Wildcat925 on 7/15/14Tampa Bay Times Forum - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

Took my five year old grandson to the Saturday morning show at the Tampa Bay Times Forum, and he (and I) absolutely loved the show. To see the super heroes, live action and stunts was a dream come true. My wife and I are planning to see the show when it stops in Orlando Fl later this year.

It was a great show! My 5yr old son really enjoyed the action! His favorite character was the green lizard, mine... Spider-Man!

It was a good performance. Would liked to seen the preformers face all three directions at some point.....so all areas could see what they looked like.

II was quite disappointed. The kids liked it but all of the parents I heard felt like it was wayyy too expensive for the amateur show we saw.

  • Fun effects, lots of characters

by MarvelMomma on 7/15/14Tampa Bay Times Forum - TampaRating: 4 out of 5

We took our 3 kids to this show for my middle sons birthday. The effects were especially good. I loved the projector which was the background for much of the show. The vehicles and motorcycle tricks were very good. The list of characters was impressive. The birthday boy was very happy spiderman was in the show (not just avengers) and my husband is a wolverine fan. There was a TON of bad guys too. The biggest downside was the cost of food and souvenirs. We spent almost $ 100 on 1 cotton candy, 1 popcorn, a round of water and 2 beers.

  • superheroes everywhere!

by pj68 on 7/15/14Tampa Bay Times Forum - TampaRating: 4 out of 5

This was a really cool show. I brought my nephew he's the superhero expert. he was telling me the characters back stories as they showed up. Lots of action and stunts galore. I would recommend this show for more of a younger crowd.
