Took my two teenage kids and we all LOVED it!!! It was so nice to be in the smaller theatre to see the actors close up. The level of talent, costumes, and music was incredible!!
This show was great. The music was very well done and the choreography was the best. I was very impressed with the vocal talent that the cast displayed. All-in-all it was well worth the price of the tickets. The staff of the theater were very good, also!
The seats were great! The performance was magical!
This theater is amazing, loved the experience! The hotel also has bars/restaurants for an entire evening experience.
This was our first time at this venue and what a great surprise! Great show, effective sets, excellent costumes and props. The singing and dance was definitely Broadway caliber!
Sometimes with joy, sometimes with fear, sometimes with sorrow, sometimes with hope, sometimes with passion, this performance moves you throughout leaves your heart pounding with happiness you were part of it!
Easy in and out. The show was really very good. The acting and singing was very good. Even cried at the end (when I usually do from the movie) of the show. Sad that this story is still so relevant today. Thank you for a very enjoyable afternoon.
We had never been to the Marriott Theater before so our experience was going to need to be extra special and impressive for us to want to come back ! Well it was indeed, from the lighting and sound, the perfect casting and exceptional voices, the set design and special effects… everything made an impression that left us speechless… in fact we booked seats for the next performance, Sound of Music for the end of April on our anniversary… 3 cheers for everyone involved who put on the best performance to date of Westside Story
This was probably the best stage version of WSS I have ever seen. Particularly strong were the scenes with the Sharks and the Jets. Dancing and leaps were amazing, and strong, fiery group vocals really packed emotion and believability into those scenes. Anita was terrific singing, dancing, and acting, although I did not think she was a good fit for the part physically. My only real disappointment was Maria's singing. Although she can certainly hit the high notes, her voice was screechy, had way too much vibrato, and occasionally sounded a little off key. Frankly, her singing made me cringe. She also appeared too old for the part. But the production was so good that even with that significant failing, I intend to see it a second time, and give it a 5 star rating.
