    Ragtime

    One of my favorite shows superbly done. Amazingly talented cast. Well directed except for the inexplicable and totally gratuitous moment at the very end. However I highly recommend this production.

    Ragtime was so moving!

    by Kimm50 on 2/6/18Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire - Lincolnshire

    I have to admit, I was not sure what to expect from this show. My daughter and I have seen so many shows in the city and at the Paramount that we are very spoiled! I can honestly say, I was completely amazed and moved near tears by this show. The actors were so talented I became a list on the story for 2 1/2 hours. Highly recommend this.

    Ragtime=spectacular!

    by BeeSch on 2/6/18Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire - Lincolnshire

    We saw Ragtime at the Marriott Theatre and we were blown away. Such a powerful show with a top notch group of actors and actresses. And the musicians did a phenomenal job on a difficult score. Absolutely incredible! Felt like we were seeing it on Broadway in NYC.

    Ragtime - 1906 topics that are relevant today

    by TheatreFan64 on 1/29/18Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire - Lincolnshire

    The Marriott Theater production of Ragtime is wonderful. The creative staging of the musical in the round is amazing. The cast are at the same level of any you would see in New York (many have significant Broadway credits) and the voices are outstanding. While this show takes place in the early part of the 20th century the themes of the musical resonate with today (unfortunately). There are the themes of white vs black, rich vs poor, immigration, workers rights, women's rights... all playing out with the same messages needed today. The show is a long one, be prepared for the 90 minute first act, and has serious themes but is a wonderful theatre experience. There are no bad seats in this intimate setting and prices are reasonable.
