The first show to ever win the Tony Award for Best Musical three times! Set against the glitter of a Saint-Tropez nightclub, a middle-aged gay couple agree to hide their relationship when their son returns home with his fiancée’s conservative parents. Feathers get ruffled and households upended in a poignant tale of one family’s struggle to stay together, stay fabulous and above all else, stay true to themselves. With a score by Jerry Herman (MAME, HELLO, DOLLY!) and a book by Harvey Fierstein (NEWSIES, KINKY BOOTS) you’ll discover that “The Best of Times” is now!

Humorous, thought provoking, fabulous costumes and great spectator interaction. This theater has become our favorite. Here is no bad seat in the house.
The energy and excitement of this play was contagious throughout the audience. Alban and George both had outstanding range and depth of their voices. Entire cast seemed to truly enjoy performing. I'd recommend it to anyone and wish I saw it earlier in the run so I cold go again!!!
Loved it. Great singing and acting. Very moving. Beautiful production. Love the music. Was humming the songs all week.
Marriot Theatre in Lincolnshire offers great theatre. Top notch talent. Not a bad seat in the house. Enjoyed the show as always. Looking forward to the next show Anything Goes.
I saw La Cage aux Folles twice--the matinee on February 15th and the evening performance on March 13th. The show was amazing on the 15th and even better a month later. Actors David Hess and Gene Weygandt sang beautifully and were totally convincing as a very much in love married couple. Mr. Weygandt's rendition of I Am Who I Am was breathtaking and his command of the music, props, dance numbers and audience was perfectly spellbinding. Good job on casting! Kudos to your choreographers and costumes/makeup teams who made me feel like I was really in a night club watching beautiful women dancing, only to discover that they were men--cleverly done at the end of an early musical number. Theater experiences like these make me want to be involved in some way--as an actor, usher, or behind the scenes. I have season tickets and I can't wait to see Anything Goes!
The show was great. Very entertaining. I would recommend to everyone.
I've seen three different productions of La Cage Aux Folles, including the original West End performance back in 1986, and this was the most joyous and moving. Nothing beats a theater in the round experience and this cast was superb. Energetic, high spirited, wicked and bawdy, yet tender and sweet. Albin/Zaza was a marvel, Georges' voice and character were utterly beautiful, the dancers were so much fun, every actor added something special to each scene and the orchestra was terrific. Being so close to the stage, you can fully experience the vibrancy of live theater--the feedback between the folks on and off stage made the experience so rich and vivid and fresh. A million thanks for an unforgettable afternoon. We can't wait to come back, again and again.
Great show. A little slow at times, the the music and dancing made it all worthwhile.
WHile the play was excellent, what was outstanding was the chorus. Also unmentioned in the Sun Times review was the great performance by Mr. Byrd. Yes I would recommend it to a friend
